I gotta say I like the new design... it's long and wide and just the right size, and it's not too hard to navigate. It might make people come more often.
Meh. It looks a bit cleaner, but it also looks derivative. It exchanged the previous, somewhat distinct look for a much more generic one. Then again, apathy wins out as I stopped caring about the non-forums part of GS a while ago.

lol...yes. I used so much brain power that my brain was like a shriveled up lime after I finished it.
About the changes themselves--I like 'em. Now just bring back the widescreen forum pages so we can use big ass screenshots again!

Heh, same here, though my resolution is 1600x900 atm, so I assume it looks a little 'wider' at a lower resolution. Either way, it's not something I would personally consider 'wide'.
The thing I like the most is I no longer have to click through the featured stories on the home page (Oh thank God!). Aside from that I don't really love it or hate it.
As a bit of a webdesigner myself I have to say that I'm not impressed. Things seem confusing and out of place, so much so that I decided not to use most of the site for now.
