Yeah, otherwise it would be pretty high I'm sure. 

My basic list at this point (in release date order) is this:

• Portal 2
• Shadows of the Damned
• Catherine
• Dark Souls 

There's other good stuff I might get, but these four are probably day-1 buys. They all come from developers that have made games I really enjoy, and they all offer something different from the norm.

There are definitely other games I want (Deus Ex 3, for instance, seems very intriguing), but I'm not anticipating them in the same way.

I never liked the GTA games much, but I loved RDR, so I have faith. 

Only game I'm 100% sold on at this point is Portal 2. They even got The National to provide an original song?

Other than that, I assume ME3 is going to miss its release date (especially after so many people have pointed out how rushed DA2 feels), Turn 10 hasn't shown off anything of Forza 4, I'm not sure if I'll get enough use out of BF3 to justify paying full price, I'm not buying into the LA Noire hype after getting suckered by GTA4 and RDR, and I'm going to give The Witcher 1 another playthrough (now that I have a rig that won't be brought to its knees by the third act) before I decide on TW2.

I'll get the other dozen or so must-buys when they either have price drops, I have a PC capable of playing them (I'll def have it by the time BF3 hits, so it made the list), or they release GOTY versions (a la Skyrim, DA2, etc.). I'm not sure when I'm getting a 3DS so that gets left out as well. Also, anything that looks like a 2012 release (Last Guardian, etc.) wasn't taken into consideration.
