GUFU Needs it's own Site (GUFU MEMBERS MUST READ)

As we progress through the early years of GUFU, we notice that the numbers had been dwindling recently. Falconzero's departure, Derangel about to move to greener pastures. Not even in it's first year, GUFU is starting to shrink. As it may look that GUFU is becoming a graveyard of good posters and are becoming a rarity among System Wars as malicous fanboys continue to multiply like rabbits on ecstasy.

The point is, ideas had been floating around, Game tried to catch our attention in a similar thread but died down twice. We need to get the attention of GUFU members and give out some thoughts. Your suggestions WILL help build the site. A site where we can write our own articles like professionals and people can actually POST without getting nowhere near flamed. A site will help build GUFU and the sister unions, SUFU, XUFU and NUFU.

Your response is much needed and greatly appreciated.

I agree with jechtshot78 on this one. This is a bad idea. You guys are moving way to fast, we dont even have a real soild base of users yet. All this will do is tear us apart even more. The confusion of starting our own website is not what this union needs.Wasdie

I don't think we should even be considering this until GUFU is at least a year old. I mean, we've only just started up the sister unions, they need a lot of time spent on them in order to establish them properly. I don't even see that this would be a good thing at any time, this site is free, and everyone's settled in here, if we displace it the whole union might suffer, rather then gain.ithilgore2006

Creating a new site wouldn't really solve anything. It's not like Falcon and Derangel are leaving because of problems with Gamespot in particular. At best, it would function very similarly to what we already have, and at worst, it would fracture the union. I don't see the point. At least, it doesn't feel very necessary. sonicmj1

Actually, Derangel is leaving because he's sick of GS. It was his idea to start the site actually.
