This isn't good. The Halo movie actually seemed like it would turn out well, as it had decent talent behind it. Though the movie isn't technically sunk yet, it's definitely going to be harder for it to see the light of day at this rate. Sucks that Microsoft is trying to get so much of the profits.Â

I can't really see this transitioning well. Given all the battles you went through in the game. You simply cannot emulate that well in the movies.
I don't think I'll be shedding any tears over this one. As much as I like science fiction combat movies (which really isn't that much...to be honest...) this just...it wasn't going to work. I mean, Halo movie? There did appear to be some talent in the cast however, so I was interested to see what would become of it.
It's not dropped, just puched back. Personally, I'm anxious for it to come out. WETA is handling the special effects, Peter Jackson is co-producing it, Eric Nylund is writing the script...it has potential.
