LOL. That's a really weird dream. I agree with the 2 above spoilers.
Was I one of the fanboys? "PS3 RULES SUCKERS" "360 IS FOR CHILDREN HAHAHAHAHA"...ahem.
I'm sorry to say, but dreaming about the forums seems like it may have some bits of extremes on you. :(
I've never dreamed of the forums, but to be frank, I've died in all my dreams as well.... or in the state of dieing.

Oh, sorry to hear that :(
Has anybody played a game for so long that you dreamed about it? For example, I remember playing marathon sessions of SSX Tricky with my buddies, and when I'd go to sleep I'd dream I was grinding on the rails. Quite dizzying, actually.

I had dreams about colorful falling bricks for weeks when I first got Lumines.
I actually have dreamt about Guitar Hero 2 lately. I really enjoy that game alot,
Oh and...
Made you stare at "Hoff-notic!"
I have had dreams of the forums, though they're usually humorous like all of my dreams usually tend to be.
I have dreamt in games, more.
I dreamt Pokemon the other day! Boy, that was weird.
And, I started playing Fire Emblem just yesterday (Path of Radiance), and I dreamt of myself as a little avatar talking to someone? in the little text boxes... blinking. That's all they do in that game as they talk. They don't move, or breathe. They just blink. And I dreamt I was talking in the exact same way, and I knew it was FE, and it was very odd.
Months... when I was fully into Tetris Attack. It was ridiculous. I think I got better because I was solving combo combinations as I slept. I was hardcore.I had dreams about colorful falling bricks for weeks when I first got Lumines.

Luckily, last night was OK. I usually don't remember the dreams I have (and we do all dream every night). So no night sweats about the forums
That was the first, and hopefully the last, time I'll dream about a fanboy inVAsion.
Oh, sorry to hear that :(Don't worry about it. I actually read on some "interpretations" of my dream, and supposedly it is supposed to represent that I don't have a fear of death.... which is a bit true, but I don't know... it's just a dream. :Has anybody played a game for so long that you dreamed about it? As for your other question... I have with one game.... Tetris Attack. :D God, when I played that game, I would dream all the time about playing that game.... hell when I would even CLOSE MY EYES I would see the blocks, move them around, create chains and combos, I swear... that was not just a game... it was crack. :P
I dream of games or finding lost consoles/games.
I remember this one dream I was watching Mario Kart and the T-Rex from Jarassic Park ate some of the Rainbow Road. It was wicked sick seeing the kart racers fall to death. :D
Funky dream, dude. :P I had a similar one with IGN. >_> But it was more action packed, and involved me riding a motorbike through a building's windows, explosions and the obligatory hot damsel in distress. I swear to you, that was an actual dream I had. My dreams as so wickedly awesome. :lol:FalconZeroMost of my dreams are crazy and also melodramtic.... :P
Basically, when I'm in the midst of my death I can hear background music playing sorrowfully to the moment and well it's kind of cool. I actually may end up humming the song if I can remeber it while I wake up. Sometimes it's a known song, other times it's something original
LOL. That's a really weird dream. I agree with the 2 above spoilers.

I dream about Harvest Moon 64 a lot at the moment, seeing as I'm playing it now. I'm always dreaming about my cows and my sheep and my crops and how the weather will be, who I'll marry, etc, etc. It's an obsession, that game.
I don't remember my dreams often, but the ones that are vivid enough to remember are usually very strange, very convoluted, and actually believable. There was this one time that I dreamed I was a rookie diplomat in a fantasy/sci-fi country with a really interesting political structure: the administative/legislative government was a psionic intelligence that lived as an essence in a city-sized cave. It was a benevolent dictator, perfectly concerned with only the well-being of the people of the country, their prosperity, and peace. It was invisible and insubstantial, but it was able to communicate telepathically to everyone in the country, though it could not read their minds, control their thoughts, or limit their freedom in a weird psionic way. Nearly every citizen of the country was very pleased with this state of affairs. As I recall, this country was also enormously rich in resources and precious metals, so a lot of other countries had their eyes on us.
I started my dream by waking up in my office in the capitol city, located in the cave of the essence-thing. I was a very junior diplomat, and my office was rather small. There were some papers on my desk, so I read through some of them (Really! In a dream, no less!) and learned basically what I wrote up above. The papers were analyses and polls, so it made sense that they would say what they did. I also learned that there would be a diplomat's ball in an hour or so, and I was to attend to pass out gifts to the various dignitaries.
The ball was alright, I suppose. I spent most of the time checking with security and helping clear up a technical problem in the kitchen of the reception building (I forget what it was, but I needed a screwdriver). Dinner was served buffet-style, and I helped myself to a few samples (they were really, really good. Yes, I can taste in my dreams... I've met other's who can't). After dinner had ended (seemed to be a little fast, actually), I stood by the gift table and passed out diplomatic token gifts by the name tag. While doing so, I noticed one of the assistants of a really austere, old, stuck-up looking lady ambassador. The assistant, however, was a stunningly good-looking young woman looking ~22. I don't recall what she looked like, but I know that the dream me was instantly smitten. As the ball resumed, I found her near a wall enjoying some sort of red drink and waiting patiently for the ambassador she was assistant to (junior diplomats never get to do anything fun on these events). I started up a conversation a little ham-fistedly, but soon we were chatting merrily, mainly about our jobs, political conditions around the world (I forget what the planet was called), and a lot of other things. As I recall, she had a trace of some really interesting accent that I've never heard anywhere on Earth. After a while the ball ended, and I offered to walk her to the subway station that led to her apartment (and only that far, for those of you who doubt my sterling character!). She graciously accepted, and we left. On the way to the station I think we talked about the crystals in the cave, and how they scattered sunlight and moonlight. It was a somewhat technical conversation, and I doubt any of it was real science. The crystals were very beautiful in the moonlight filtering down from the holes in the cave's roof (maybe 400 feet above).
The subway station was deserted except for us. It was like a typical London station, but very clean and and well-maintained, like a non-public government building. the first half was above-ground, and some escalators led down to the platform. We were walking to the escalators when there was a shot and a bullet hit the wall to our left. I immediately ducked behind a piece of furniture (a padded bench/sofa thing) and pulled her along. I could hear a few more shots hit the sofa, and I knew we were pinned down. I reached out with a thought (It felt weird) and asked the essence to help me out. It's voice in my mind was about to tell me what to do when I woke up.
Probably the coolest dream I've ever had. I wonder what Freud would say...
I almost never remember my dreams. I really wish I could. sonicmj1
You only remember your dreams if you wake up while you're actually dreaming.
Cool dream! Add a little conflict, and you've got yourself kind of a cool backstory to a game.Talks long-windedly about his dream.

I can taste in my dreams. The few VERY rare times I eat, it's delicious. But, I don't often eat in my dreams (eating really irritates me).

The first answer is correct
Don't browse the GS forums right before going to bed. Read some literature before you drop off and get yourself a better class of nightmares. :PIyethar

I recall reading H.P. Lovecraft's "The Hound" right before curfew a year or so ago. Didn't have a nightmare, but only 'cause you gotta sleep to have nightmares.

Thanks :) I've got to be careful about that - any game that has falling or scrolling visual elements will mess me up if I play it right before bed. I close my eyes and still see the game for the better part of an hour. Tetris, Meteos and Guitar Hero are the worst offenders in this regard.
