my birthday is coming soon and I've already decided to get mario kart and ninja gaiden 2.

The thing is...blue dragon sounds interesting but I've been hearing mixed opinions about it.

what do you guys think about the game?

Based on the demo I didn't like it. But lately I've lost my taste for JRPG's in general, with few exceptions. Blue Dragon failed to be such an exception for several reasons, but I think a better opinion would be from someone who has had more time with the game than I have. You could always download the demo yourself and give it a go.

Depends on how much you like classic RPGs, it is a big homage to them without feeling outdated.

I really liked the demo, that is to say, I liked the art styIe, the combat, and the characters (for the most part).

But this game sort of got lost in a sea of other big hits and I never got around to buying it. :P
