Thats kinda lame.. why does gamespot just keep adding stupid rules? I've seen most forums I've been to have nothing against bumping, I mean, its better then starting a new topic. It is stupid when you have like PS3 SUCKS, then no one replies, then you bump it. But people who made like 2 paragraph post on some of their thoughts or pointing out some facts, and fanboys dismiss it because they have no backup, then it falls to page 2 and the topic creator bumps it.. that should be okay.
If they want to cut down on bumping, they should just purge the old threads every month like they used to, and not keep 12+ months of posting stored in their servers. Both a waste of space and effort.

Bumping was never really "allowed" on the forums, it was just too irrelevent to go after it when the Flame Wars were going on. Now that they've died down a bit over the last year, the mods want to combat something else, and now that something else is bumping.
