This LBP2 tutorial is soooooo loooooooong. I'm tempted to play Dead Space 2.Is it not skippable? And yeah, you should complete the first 1 :P.
Fuzzy, good to see you again.
I recently finished the story of AC Brotherhood, and now been mainly switching bcak and forth between Halo Reach and my 5th play through of Mass Effect 2.
'sup, watcha doin'. What evil secred project are you working on these days?IronBassIt's not so secret...Gears 3 :)
Oh nice! I just finished Brotherhood last night, solid game. I had a lot of fun chain-killing fools in the training mode. :) Have you tried beating ME2 on Insane yet? Been thinking about doing another run-through, but not sure just how insane Insane difficulty is. I played as an infiltrator my first time through....any suggestions for a good character class for a potential second run?Fuzzy, good to see you again.

Haha, cool. Will do.I've been jumping around
1. Golden Sun Dark Dawn
2. Kirby's Epic Yarn
3. LittleBigPlanet 2
4. Donkey Kong Country Returns
5. Muramasa the Demon Blade
And that's it. :)Â
Is that enough Marketing Research for you Fuzzy? :D :P How have you been? come more often D:

Katamari Forever, and Oblivion have been eating most of my game time lately, with a light drizzle of Reach online, meatboy and Pacman Chamiponship DX as side courses.
oh and portable wise I've been playing through Phantom Hourglass again before I go to bed at night. Â

Hey Teuf, have you started on the inevitably crappy NGP version of God of War? :P
I have faith in Teuf, they launched PSP with the sexiness that is Daxter, maybe they can be equally medioc- I mean, excellent with NGPÂ

It's the only class in the game that gets better the higher the difficulty of the game is. Insane is hard mostly because of the stupid amount of shields armor and barriers everyone has. The anti material sniper rifle with the upgrades + tactical cloak is ridiculous.Fuzzy, good to see you again.

Ah, that's good advice. Only problem is I played as an infiltrator on my first run, so I was thinking about trying something else this time. Maybe sentinel, since they're the most versatile and have that power armor ability? Game21x suggested over LIVE I should try soldier, since that's what he's playing on Insanity. Too many options... To your last remark -- thanks for the kind suggestion, but unfortunately I'm not online enough to be constructive in any sort of officer role. I haven't been following union developments closely, so I'm not sure what's gone down recently, but I'm sure this place will continue to thrive under Lafi's leadership. It's one of the longest-running, strongest communities on GameSpot, and honestly the only forum I still enjoy posting on online. It might get windy once in awhile, but I'm confident the foundations of the GameSpot User Fellowship Union aren't so easily swayed. :)Ok I'll add you. Myself, I can't be bothered to play on Insanity mode, even for the achievement. I don't regard RPGs the same way as general shooters, where the experience is in the enemy challenge. RPG's to me are all about the story and world interaction, where the combat i just a means to an end.
But I do think you're right, that Sentinel is the best choice for Insanity play through, for the same reasons. The Tech Armor will be a godsend for the amount of firepower you'll be up against, and the versatility to handle shielded and armored opponents yourself. Having the right team mates along will only help that. So basically as long as it's not a Loyalty mission, your two choices should always be Miranda and either Garrus or Mordin. When you know what you'll be up against in the upcoming mission you select, go with the Miranda/Garrus combo when you expect to face lots of mechs and Geth, or Miranda/Mordin for most everything else.
With Garrus and Miranda you have 3 characters that can take down shields and two that can deal with armor. Plus just using Overload to blast the sythetics without wasting ammo. With Mordin in place of Garrus, you have 3 people who can take down armor. That and the Collector's being pure organic enemies are very vulnerable to Mordin's Incineration Blast. Miranda's unique skill tree, Cerberus Officer, which gives the whole team a weapon's damage bonus is all aroun useful to have too.
But if we're talking another play through just on the default difficulty, I had lots of fun as an Adept. The full range of biotics is nice to have and the cIass power of Singularity is awesome. Vanguard is cool too with the Biotic Charge, though the worst choice for Insanity.
Also, on my last play through I found out how many benefits there are to playing Lair of the Shadow Broker midway through the game. I downloaded it after completing my previous 3 character play throughs, so played that DLC post suicide mission. Then when going through my ME1 imports, found I had a character I forgot about who romanced Liara. Though only a level 46 when completed so not as much import bonuses. But having 4 post release DLC missions gives you lots more credi earning opportunities. Not only that, with the Stolen Memories and Firewalker, you can get a 6th upgrade for Biotic and Tech damage. Too sweet for a Sentinel :D :D
Anyway, back to Lair of the Shadow Broker, I found out that after you complete the mission itself, it REALLY pays off to make regular retrun trips to the Shadow Broker base.
** I tried to put the highlighted text in spoiler but would ****ing gamespot allow me? Ohhhh no, they can't be bothered to hire competent IT admins, so **** it!
It's great that you can respec your character on the Normandy. But on the SB base there's a terminal that lets you respec ALL your team mates. Very useful after they get that automatic point from unlocking their loyalty power.
There's the terminal where you can pick up investment opportunities. All you have to do is read a request various political parties have for the broker's aid, spend some credits. Then when you return after playing a main game mission, if you read that the venture was successful, you get a money payoff for what you invested.
There's the terminal where you can get info on planets rich in the various resouces, that then show up on your galaxy map. At this point I was swimming in most of the resources so only bought the Eezo planet guide.
Next to Liara is a console where you receive random deliveries from various parties that have some form of deal going on with the shadow broker. Most come in the form of resource drop offs, but the most surprising was some weapon upgrades. From making regular return trips I was able to get the Pistol and Sniper damage up a 6th tier!!! I would have had the same for my SMG, but somehow missed one of the regular 5 somewhere in the main game. I'm really kicking myself for that.
You should make regular visits to the broker's video surveillance room. There are some really funny clips to watch, and you'll even see surveillance he had on some of your team mates, including Jacob, Thane, and Samara.
Wow what a DLC. Even aside from these bonuses, just the mission variety makes it one of the most satisfying ever played. Worth every point. Also make sure to get some of those weapon pack DLC's. As a Sentinel you'd get good use from the Phalanx pistol that has a laser sighting. The Mattock assault rifle (the extra weapon specialization I chose on the collector ship) seems alright. But I found the pistol and SMG better. Don't know how good the Geth Plasma shotgun or Incisor sniper rifle is, as I didn't have a cIass that could equip those when I downloaded them. Still, gotta think of the team :)
They made Jandurin leave, true story. jg4xchampA shame if true -- hope whatever rift caused Jan's departure is resolved and he's invited back into the union. This community was built on the backs of members like Jandurin; we shouldn't let any differences result in the dissolution of those bonds.
