What do you consider "standard" for this next-gen?

In other words, what do you think the least a console should have. Why I ask is because none of the new consoles seem to have standards. According to Sony and MS, HD is standard, but the Wii doesn't have that. A lot of people think that rumble is standard because all the controllers last gen had it, but the PS3 seems to exclude it. Something else that you might think should be standard are wireless controlers (ok, I don't know if you think that, but I do), yet the 360 has wired ones. There's probably a lot more that I can't think of, so what do you think are the standards for this next-gen?

Well said. Truthfully there are no real "standards".

Online is definatly a mandatory standard, or Sony and Nintendo would fall behind Microsoft. Some people may not care too much about online (like me) but playing the odd game online once in a while would still be neat.

True. XBL is addictive, and I had a lot of fun for the short time I played MP:H online.

Online, good gameplay and controls, no lag, graphics good enough so it looks at least as good as the games recently.

Something that the previous system didn't have, and at least some improvement in hardware. So all the consoles are next-gen IMO.

Next Gen is one of those words that can't be defined.
