Who's getting the 3DS?

It's coming out in a couple of days, any of you guys getting it at launch?

I'll wait till the NGP comes out and make a decision on which one to get.

No where near launch, all the launch titles are not worth it, even if some may be enjoyable, none seem like killer apps.

The only games I want coming this year from whats been announced are ports or remakes, so I'll wait for something like Megaman Legends 3 (which has actually not even been green-lit according to latest news) and Layton vs Wright (which may may not come here at all, but if it does, it'll be I'd bet late next year at the earliest). 

I'll get it when some new original RPG I want comes out for it, most likely, or a phoenix wright team game. 

If there are deals for it later in the year (black friday, etc.) I'll get it then. If not, I'm holding out till the first price drop.

I have it reserved with SSF4 and Pilotwings :>Skittles_McGee

I bought SF4 and SSF4, I could never see myself buying it again.. especially not with such a cruddy control scheme..

Oh yeah that too, I heard under some conditions battery goes as low as 2.5 hours, thats pretty gross. They may not be able to reduce its size much, but battery life improvements would ben ice. 

I'm gonna hold off till later this year before picking one up.

Plus they're probably gonna reveal a bunch of new games for it this E3 (that new mario platformer is gonna be day one for me)

eh probably around Christmas. i have a feeling they might not have a 2nd version with this one for some reason-The-G-Man-

 I'll be waiting until the library picks up ang gets over 3D ports; but I do want DOA.

What do you think they'll be able to improve this time round? Can't see too many faults with the design, I'm guessing it'll just be related to battery and maybe removing any of the 3D problems.

The GBA had 3 versions and the DS had 4 iirc. With battery life and 3D problems already present I'd pretty much bet my soul they'll come out with a new model.

Battery life would be nice, maybe just a little bit more headroom for the 3D as well.

Will buy one during the holiday season, hopefully with a sale/bundle.

And with Paper Mario 3D.

The only interest I have in the DS is what comes out of NDX The Nintendownload X-Press!

I did buy a DSi a long time ago and I barely used it at all. I am proably not going to touch a DS ever again.

Course I'm getting it, but not right now. I have PC parts to buy between now and Skyrim.

I'll go to Best Buy later this week and see it for myself, that ought to hold me over.

True, I think I'll end up getting the Lite version anyway since by the time I make my decision, there'll be one (hopefully).

My brother owns a DS, and tbh I never saw the appeal. So I shan't be getting this one either.

True, I think I'll end up getting the Lite version anyway since by the time I make my decision, there'll be one (hopefully).

The 3DS looks likea an amazing piece of tech, and aside from 3D, the upgraded graphics, AR games, SpotPass features, and online structure are what also have my interest. The games at launcha aren't terrible looking, but none of them are the "must have" games I'm compelled to buy. If I bought it now, I'd just be playing Okamiden and Pokemon Black on it, so I'll wait on it a little while. I'm sure a Lite, 3DS Mini, etc or will come out in like a year and half or more from now. When that does, I won't probably buy that upgrade until later like I did with my DS phat to Lite. I can hold off.
