When I need to find a pretty old topic here, I use it. What does it do, it lists a bunch of totally RANDOM crap that has nothing to do with what I searched. I just tried searching for "official plz make me a sig thread" and got some random stuff about MGS4 and some other stuff. Worst of all, it's stuff that aren't even on THIS board. It's stuff from OT, SW, and a bunch of other crappy places. I know what I have to do... *shoots gamespot*
I gave up on the GameSpot search function months ago. Before the redesign, it was amazing: advanced searches organized by score, date, genre, platform, all of which were easy to navigate. Now, I'm pretty sure they're still there, but using it is ten times more difficult. Forum search sucks as always, though.
GS shouldn't have made the change. They really shouldn't have. I'm still waiting for the useful new features that TheRagingGamer said would come out of this.

I hate their search. It sucks really bad. Sometimes I search for something and it ends up giving me something that has nothing to do w/ what I was searching for.

That always happens. Never once have I used the Search Board feature and had it actually work.
