Glad to see this game still exists :)

Pause the video at 0:25. It appears Link has a harp mapped to the Dpad. Return of instruments is good.

Still don't know how to feel about this one. Looks like a hybrid of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. E3 will probably be the time for it to shine.

lol likes garbage compared to DX11 Battlefield 3 footage. Look at the textures, the lighting! EW. You know the guy that said "I'm ****ed up but I'm up" in that gameplay clip? That was Link.
Skyward Sword is sick as hell, by the way. Haters gonna hate :)
After reading through the "haunted Majora's Mask cart" story today, I'm coming across tons of Majora's Mask conspiracies. The moon in TP looks like the moon from MM. Death Mountain in TP is spherical at the top, resembling the moon in MM. Now this with the Skull Kid. I think there are two outrageous but compelling possibilities: 1) Nintendo is secretly making this game like MM, but clothing it in a bright suit, and 2) there is an over-arching MM conspiracy being perpetrated by Nintendo, integrating the story and characters of Majora's into everything but hiding it under the surface where only the best code-breakers can find it.

I really want to get back into MM now so I can see if that's the case when SS comes out. :3

EDIT: ^^^ It totally looks like the Skull Kid. Why else would they even make it resemble him?

I'm looking forward to it. I actually like TP quite a bit, but I'm hoping I like this more.

I'm not super hyped yet, but when it gets closer to release, I'm sure I'll be excited as hell. Just as I always am before a new Zelda release. :)

Looks pretty cool. I like how the M+ puzzles seem quite varied and smart (like the block that you have to rotate) not just shoehorned in. The designs of the enemies and stuff are also neat, and they differentiate themselves from what we saw in the other games well. I particularly really liked the statue boss at around 1:00 (don't know how I feel about the emo chick, though :P).

I've decided for the time being to regard this game as something on the level of Spirit Tracks, not really as a "major" Zelda. That's not to say anything about the quality of the game (like I said, it looks cool), but if I keep expecting it to blow me away and become the revolutionary Zelda I've been waiting for or whatever, I think I'll be disappointed no matter what. And if the scope and story elements turn out better than I expect...well, I'll just be pleasantly surprised. And sort of owned. :o

truth be told, all they have to do is deliver on the dungeon designs and sidequests and I'm happy.

I'm sure the dungeons will be great as always, but they seriously need to get back on the ball with the sidequests. We haven't had a real set of sidequests since 2003. :|

My biggest fear going from TP to this, was that it would be just as easy, as much as I really enjoyed TP, I actually had a hard time understanding how it would be possible for some bosses to even hurt you, it was just so insanely easy.

Now with the motion controls for this, I imagine they can't try to make it hard because then it might take too much physical effort or something.. all the fights seem to be, hit once to reveal weakpoint, hit weakpoint. Of course you can't judge the difficulty of a game from a trailer, but this is my one serious fear.

I liked the music, the graphics, the enemy design, and how the use of motion controls look. Nice trailer, not of the "THIS IS EPIC PHWOOOOOOOOOAR" kind, but it showed what it needed to show.

If Midna is another way of saying Arbiters Ground, then yes, Midna was the best part of Twilight Princess.

Pretty crappy trailer though. The colours are all washed out, why isn't Nintendo releasing an actual direct feed trailer of this.

But like Iwata said, it was pretty much random scenes just showing off the motion plus. The hud still looks horrible too.

E3 trailer will probably show off the overworld and story stuff.

Enemies and bosses looked great though. Interesting to see the instrument is now a harp.

I honestly will have to see that to believe it. Miyamoto, Aonuma or someone said that they were still working on the HUD. I don't really remember them saying you can turn it off.

Either way, E3 was a long time ago and that seems like a very unnintendo-like thing to do.

It's Zelda... They have my money down on lock already, no need to second guess it. I like the new trailer too. Hope to see more info, but I'm going to do what I've done with past Zelda games from TP to ST and now this... Avoid trailers. I don't wanna ruin anything more.

I think it's totally a Nintendo-like thing to beat you over the head with some new concept at first. If there were concerns about it at E3 and it wasn't already optional, they had tons of time to do it and I think they would.

In TP you could choose if you wanted to have the item wheel displayed or not. That quote means the WiiMote HUD will be similar.

"in Zelda, is the HUD a work in progress, with the on-screen controller? It was designed and implemented for E3. Will it change? Yes. At E3 we're throwing a lot of things at you at once, and we made something for people to quickly understand."
