Hey, why don't you try playing Farmville, Hay Day and Pocket Tales. These are some of SNG that are popularly known and is really good game to play. It’s a Farm simulation network game involves different kind of farm management. Been playing these for a couple of months now. And i can say, that these are the best Social network game i played so far :)

Maybe that guy meant some kind of multiplayer games? There're a bulk of farmville-styled games on mobile platforms. I'd say that they over-flooded the game market...
