Please forgive me if this question is not in the right Genre of this forum but I felt this was the most appropriate place to ask.

I was once a hardcore gamer for years and I fell back because of work and stuff. I use to play games like "GoldenEye 007"(For Nintendo 64) and "Pokemon"(For gameboy) and then I would use to play stuff like the GTA series for hours. Recently just a couple of years ago, I got back into gaming by playing MW3(I loved that game) and I'm looking to get back into the gaming community for mobile (Android)

I feel like I have been missing a lot of whats going on and technology is moving so fast and I'm getting/growing older. Lol

Can anybody catch me up or recommend me the latest/hottest/good/best games for Android. I like to play role playing games like "StarCraft"(I know, I'm old lol). As I stated, I loved the Pokemon series. I also loved the GTA series and I also loved the Call Of Duty Series. . .

I think smart phones are the perfect platform for the puzzle genre. If you want a good puzzle game, then check out Threes. I've put over 50 hours into it whenever I have a moment or hour...

I tried "clash of clans". It kind of reminds me too much like "World of warcraft/Starcraft". . . Its kind of a turn off to play something that reminds you of something else. It's like you have the GTA series and then there's "Saints Row". I was hoping there was some game Im missing out on in the android community that everybody played and it was the new cool thing. . .

I thought because android was such a popular platform that there would've been some type of blockbuster hit that I didn't know about. Also I would've thought that there would've been some type of fun interactive MULTIPLAYER game that people were playing on android. All the games I mentioned were MULTIPLAYER and I noticed that most of the games I came across(in the android play store) were just a single player game. But thank you guys very much for the responses.

If you know of a better place(a more appropriate forum) to get more answers, please share. Thank you

I would like to recommend two games Spirit Lords and Forsaken World Mobile. Spirit Lords is a solid hack 'n slash game while Forsaken World Mobile is a free-to-play MMO with beautiful rendered 3D environments, massive dungeons and bosses. Spirit Lords is available to play now while Forsaken World Mobile will be launched on Android next month.

csr racing, Crazy taxi city Rush, cartoon wars gunner, dead trigger 2.

If your going the emulator route invest in a Moga Pro controller so you can play all your roms in "b" mode with a 360 type of controller through bluetooth.

I feel like there is something lacking with android. Whenever I play the GTA series, I feel immersed in that world. I remember a while back when pokemon was the thing and at the time I thought it was the stupidest thing ever until I started playing it and I was immersed in that world. Same thing with the COD series. . .

@gamevet77

I did try dead trigger but it got too repetitive.

FINAL THOUGHTS: I just believed that because android was such a popular platform that there would of been some type of groundbreaking game on android. I cant believe that no one has created a fun multiplayer game where people can compete or be immersed in a fantasy world on android
