Do I OWN all the app games I bought in the App Store forever?

I bought a couple of games in the App Store (like Final Fantasy V), and I was wondering: do I OWN these games forever like a physical copy (except it's digital for iPod/iPad), or is it one of those things where it's only temporarly? Temporaly as in it can be taken away at any time from the developers/publishers, which I don't know if that's true or not since it's digital. I know physical disk games for Xbox 360 or whatever is owned forever; but I don't know about digital games in the App Store, hence why I ask this question. I'm not too informative about this digital stuff in iTunes/App Store so...

My understanding is that apps are only licensed to you, not sold. I've seen a couple of apps I've purchased go missing from the store, but luckily I've had a backup in iTunes I can use.

However, keep in mind that Apple have the power to disable apps on your device, but I don't think they've ever done this.

As for the link: it says it only removes malicious software off the iPhone, which I do not have (only iPod Touch 5g and iPad Mini). Both my iPod Touch 5g and my iPad Mini are up-to-date so I should be fine, right - as in I have all my apps forever (other than it's licensed)?

As I said, apps aren't sold to you, they're licensed. You can read up more about it here.
