This just in from Engadget.

So how many of you could consider Gamestop as a buying option? I don't buy regularly at Gamestop but I have to admit I'm tempted. Of course, I would assume you may not get the free $25 Android Play (aka Market) credit of the other freebies if you're not ordering through Play. Yet then again, I'd avoid extra cost of shipping, in addition to the taxes I'd have to play to get it off Google.

Hmm, gotta think of it a bit, lol.

Tablet gaming just doesn't interest me. Too small to be a console, too big to be a handheld...

The Nexus7 is a very powerful hardware, Tegra3 quad-core processors with a 1280x800 screen. But the games on Google Play are just no way near the level of Apple App Store. They need to make more hardcore gamers focused games that will utilizes the power of the tablet.

I agree with both of ya, lol. To be frank I couldn't care less about getting it for gaming b/c I don't do tablet (or phone) gaming all that much unless it's some so of time-wasting thing. I'm simply just interested in it for the pure Android tablet experience and the fact that it's the first one w/ 4.1 (Jelly Bean), at such an awesome price.

When purchasing from a store, the best part is getting a good package with the device. If they have a very convincing package, I would consider buying from them.

7 inch tablets are just too small unless you like games such as Flick You Ninja, or Cut a Hot Dog.

Well, like you said that entirely depends on the games you play on it. But like I mentioned, mainly my major motivation for getting it would be for gaming. Besides, I wouldn't play games like those anyway, lol.

My galaxy tab was perfect for gaming. Closer to the size of a controller, but big neough so your fingers aren't obscuring much. Its a fine balance

I agree. Although there aren't too many 'intensive' games on the Amazon App Store. Gaming is fine on my Kindle Fire. Although that's not really what it's for.
