Who thinks that the Steelers will repeat their Superbowl vctory of last year? If so, list your reasons, if not list the team you think will most likely win and why.

No, they lost Bettis and Randle El, just like the pats..they didnt get any better. They are still the team to beat in their division but right now I dont think there the best team out there. I think the Panthers are the best team in the NFL.

No.  I see the Seahawks winning it all.  They dindn't lost any impact players this offseason and we'll probably see more of the same from Alexander and Hasselbeck this year.

Team to beat in their division? Thats still the Bengals, I can debate all day how the Wildcard would have turned out if Palmer hadn't been injured And no, they won't repeat. SB XLI is Redskins vs. Bengals :D

Yes they did, but do they still have their four other starting O-Linemen?

Yeah, but they also lost Jurevicious, Burleson won't fill up that hole, but perhaps their guy from NFL Europe, Skyler Fulton can...

No, I don't think they're good enough to repeat.  As already mentioned, they lost El and Bettis.  My pick is the Seahawks.  They've got an underrated defense and their passing game is still just as good as it was, even without Jurevicius.  The loss of Steve Hutchinson is being overplayed IMO.  Alexander is still one of the best backs in the league and the rest of the line is still really good.

Two words.

Steve McNair.

Plus all the defensive starters they got back from last year and that first round draft pick they chose. He'll eat up a lot of space for Ray Lewis, kinda like Sam Adams and Tony Saragusa for did Ray Lewis a few years ago.

Also Jamal Lewis is back and Mike Anderson is his back up. Also Derrick Mason is there as McNairs #1 reciever again. They were very good in Tennessee together.

I wouldn't call them a one-hit wonder quite yet. Roethlisberger still has a lot of winning left to do in this league.

It has to be the Seahawks. They were in the Super bowl to you know. Also the Steelers only got worse looseing Bettis and Randel L. Also the Seahawks only got better picking up Petterson. That will make thier D better then it already is.

Yes they will repeat, this is how I see it.

First off Bus while the spiritual leader of the team (which can be replaced) was far from the greatest RB on the field. Staley sat out almost all last season and will be fresh and ready to fill buses place and he'll be fine assuming he avoids injury.

El is a great WR no doubt ,but the steelers have some great up and coming recievers lower in the strings that will most definitly be very competent recievers.

Ben is getting more and more use to his team and the more he feels at ease the more you will see him own the living sh$t out of the other teams passing D's

The SEAHAWKS??? LMFAO guys the steelers couldnt have played any worse then they did in the Superbowl, the way they played in the Superbowl every single AFC team that made it to the playoffs last year +chiefs/chargers would have kicked the steelers asses if they had played any of those teams like they did.

The NFC is still all hype imo, they got some good up and coming teams, but not one that can legitamitly tangle with the afcs top dogs.

they really didnt do much to get to the superbowl... like injuries, a missed field goal, and corrupt refs. the bengals are gona pound the steelers next year... well not really pound, but it will be close.

the pats just had many injuries on D, thats it.

Hey now wait just a second.

The patriots deserve their media attention and the patriots hardly ever had the media attention before, that they're getting right now.

The pats are still very underrated. Every pats fan knows that. The record they had last year was a reflection of how many injuries they had during the year. That Broncos playoff game was really the first game of the season where the pats had all their personal healthy and ready to go. If the pats didnt have all those injuries during the season, the pats would have had home field advantage and eventually would have won the super bowl. Every pats fan knows that.

I mean the pats needed to break the record for longest winning streak in NFL history to have people choosing them to win football games.

okay I'm not going to talk about the Pats but Wake Forrest: I know you are entitled to your own opinion but: you are a huge homer, the jags are not going to win the super bowl, yes the are a young and talented plaoff team, but they are not Elite yet.

It's okay buddy.

I'm a homer too.

I know how you feel.

Plus I think its better to be a homer than to be like some dude who lives in Oakland and his favorite team is the Dolphins. Those people annoy me.

I still follow the celtics even though they suck. Why? Because they're my home team. They represent the area I live in.

I dont know if you follow the celtics like I do but the Celtics SUCK. They havent won a championship since i was born. For most of the 90's they've been one of the laughing stocks of the NBA.

lol i just got more and more obnoxious and excitied as the season draws closer cause I love watching football cause everygame means something in the NFL cause there is only 16 games in the season to try and make it to the post season and I know the jags have the best team they have had in years this year so im really really excited.WAKEFOREST23

So you annoy yourself because your a Packer fan anyway?

Im sorry but I didnt follow what you wrote.

I am a Patriots fan. Born and raised in New England.

As for the Packers, yes I like the Packers but I wouldnt really consider myself a fan of them. The only reason why I like the Packers is because my dad and the rest of his family grew up as diehard packer fans when they lived in Wisconsin. I've been around the Packers and Patriots my whole life. For my whole life, my dad and grandpa and everyone else has tried to make me a diehard packers fan, but it never quite worked out. Im a homer and always will be.

As far as College sports go. Im not a homer, because you can choose any school you want to go to, reguardless of where it is located. Like for me, Im a diehard Michigan Wolverines fan. Almost my whole family went to Michigan and I plan on going there too if I can keep my grades up. I mean I like Boston College but im not really fan of them though.

I don't get how you think that wherever you live, thats what team you should love. I could never be a fan of the Vikes, Lions, Bears, Colts, Pats, Broncos, or Cowaboys, no matter where I live

I know you could. I could too.

But IMO I think thats fake and I think thats cheap.

Unless you have a real reason to like them, other than the fact that they're a good team or that they have cool looking uniforms. Or if they have some superstar player on their team like Michael Vick.

Whats fake and cheap, liking a team when its not the team of where I live? IMO, people who change allegiances because of where they live are just as bad as bandwagoners

Whats with all the teh jags will win crap! The jags arent even a playoff team, there QB is the most overrated piece of crap in the NFL, sure he can take some hits, but he isnt even on the top 10 QB list and in my opinion he just well sucks.
