Yeah, it pretty much is guaranteed the Pack will take a RB with their 1st pick.

Not necessarilly if: 1)The Packers sign/trade a good RB or 2)Marshawn Lynch is gone, since no one would be really worthy of No. 16 if he's gone we might wait till round 2 and take Kenny Irons

This is both good and bad news in my opinion.  He had a pretty bad YPC last year and he has not been the same since he got hurt last year.  On the other hand, the Pack needs a good #1 back now.

O ya thats a big signing for us, considering how Dayne played last year they will probably share time in the backfield. Now on to other needs...

Most drafts projected the Packers to take a RB before.

Now we know why he left the Pack, he was overpaid (IMO) 4 years 23 million. I think the Packes were offering him a 2 year deal that was in the ball park of 2-3 million a year not 6

LOL a first rounder, your first round QB and a TE to move up for a RB when they can just land Lynch? No way. I know Peterons is better than Lynch but I would not give up my first round QB and my current first round pick for him.

It's a big loss, but he is an aging back.  The Texans spent a little bit too much money for him.  What are they going to do with Domanick Williams now?  Have him split time with Green?

I missed that part sorry....hmm.....I dont like it much if im the Packers, cuz then they will probally draft Russell cuz they will have a need at QB, so basically your getting Moss and your filling a need and opening another.

Worst Post Ever!!!

Unless Dayne is rushing against my World Champion Colts, he belongs on the bench.

Seems like that is the plan, assuming Williams can even play.

As a Texans fan, I semi-like the signing.  Green comes with problems, but at least it's depth.

Davis had surgery last week. He's finished. Has been for years. Green is perfect for us. A veteran to take the reigns for a year or two and teach our rookies. Frees up the draft for O-Line, CB, WR, D-Line. QB next year, and a RB if our rookies don't get better.

Started having knee problems in 2005. Out the end of the season. In surgery/rehab from roughly November 2005 - now. Changing his name didn't magically fix his knee. I like the guy, I like what he did for us, but his has been done for "a year and a hal." (that better?)

I'll never refer to him as Domanick Williams, after watching him at LSU for a number of years.
