I say no, Hall of fame is for the best of the best and he may be smart but he cheats, i dont think that should be aloud in the hall of fame.

At this point, of course he should. Can't give him the Clemens treatment until there is much more solid evidence of the Pats taping in other games. Even then, it really isn't that big of a deal.

Agreed. Right now we only know of like 6 games. That's not enough. I'd like the voters to let him dangle for a while though, and not let him in for a few ballots.

Yes because unlike Belicheck there is evidence that Clemens cheated....oh wait.

I mean come on, he didnt even know he was cheating, he misinterpreted the rules so its really not cheating. I'm just kidding but of course he should be in the hall of fame, he's an amazing coach and already paid the price(literaly) for his deeds(which I dont think would have been much help anyway). Keeping him out for a vote or two maybe another way to punish him but keeping him out completely is ridiculous. Taping walkthoughs and the defensive coach doesnt win you a 60 minute football game or like 150 games and 3 super bowls so far.

I think he should be in because of his ability to win and the rings but if something else comes up that proves he did more than just tape signals in a few games then my opinion will change.

Do you usually just read the first line a of a post and then comment on it, because it's not a great policy?

I say he goes in but agree they should wait for him to go in in later ballots, unless he happens to win a title or two more and sets some coaching records, then it would be harder to keep him out for so long, but yes for that stupid move he pulled, he doesnt earn nor deserve first round HoF! i am still pissed at him!
