Will the browns ever get anywhere in life? i mean i wonder what is going on over there, you would think that they would get to the playoffs sonner or later because they always get close to first draft pick

Well as long as the Ravens stay on top in their division and Cincinati improves more next year then the Browns will not be doing anything

But if Cincinati and Pittsburgh both start to tank and head south, then the Browns might do something then, but until then forget about it!!!

The poor Brownies are in a tough division.  Luckily for them, the other 3 teams are going to start stinking it up right around the time that they break through.  Gonna take a while though.

Your probably right, but you never know, the Browns could turn over a new leaf and become a good teams in the years to come. It would be tough but still possible.

It will take them a while to become competitive.  They need a couple good drafts but they will be there.  If the Broncos hadn't stolen their defensive line they could be a good team.

To harveyd222 - You would think so but their has been a curse set upon the Browns that I haave finally come to accept will never let the Browns win anything of signifigance.

To Rvdecwthug1976 - True enough. Don't forget the Steelers too.

To wallymartin - We're never going to break through.

To PNXPNX - They won't turn over a new leaf.

To HumanTorch101 - Our d-line wasn't anygood when they were with us.

To Espurs117 - Something people forget about the Saints. They have Deuce McCallister, last I checked one of the better RBs in the league. They lost him midseason 2 yrs ago, he came back, add a QB and BAM...team.    Droughns =/= Deuce.

To Greatwasabi - He will get killed behind our line.

I don't honestly think we can judge Frye yet as he was running for his life half the time behing their horrible O-Line

I think getting a good & Talented QB would be a good start for the Browns to turn around their team. They will also need a good RB, good Offensive linemen & some good defensive players.

I think they need a first round QB and then build the line through the rest of the draft and free agency

If you ask me their doomed. They won't get anywhere in the AFC North. I agree with espurs. They should draft adrian peterson.

I'm not negative, I am a realist. To try and fix the Browns a bit I think they should: strongly pursue Eric Steinbach and Nate Clements in free agency. Then AP in the draft, along with some o-lineman and d-lineman. Also, Bently may not be able to come  back this year; he had a staph infection in his surgically repaired leg, not the first Brown to have this happen to him. I like Frye, I think we can win with him.

It doesnt much matter for the browns b/c unless they break through this year there going to be in the new AFC WEST with the: Steelers,Vikings, and Greenbay. Which I look forward to as a steelers fan because thats a pretty easy division.

Give the Brown five more years........that is if they play the draft well.  I think Romeo can keep the defense under ties but they need to get the offense going.  Charlie Frye is not the answer.  They are in a tough division as well.  It should make them better by playing better teams, but it might take them several years to get over the hump.

If they can get Joe Thomas and Troy Smith they should be in great shape. Adding Leonard Davis would also help that O Line. Bentley, Andruzzi, Davis and Thomas could make a great line and they would really improve the running game. That would enable them to pass on Peterson or any other RB for at least one more year. I'm not sure what positions some of those linemen play, so they may not need one of them. One thing is for sure, they need to find a way to protect Smith or Frye.

The cleveland curse is overlooked NO cleveland team has won a championship in ANY pro or college (I don't know anything bout cleveland colleges though) sport. The cavs (hatem) are admitedly good, but they won't win a championship for awhile. The browns are just pretty bad. They've won a championship... but not a superbowl.
