Jets Vs. Packers, would be a great match-up.

With the Jets winning.

Steelers/Packers would be the best game, in my opinion. But if the Steelers do make it, I'd rather they face the Bears.

You don't HAVE to. Come on, root for the Steelers. It may hurt at first, but then it will feel good.

I am the biggest Steeler fan for this week. *waves terrible towel*

Besides of all the teams in the league which has pretty good success against a Rex Ryan run defense? The Steelers. Now what worries me is if Ryans new defense that he tried this year against the Colts and the Patriots will work against Pit too. I think it hard to say right now though. Both Manning and Brady are pocket passers who don't like to move much and certainly don't like to scramble and throw on the run. Big Ben, love him or hate him but you can't deny he is very good at throwing on the run and the Steelers offense to me are probably one the the best at getting open for thier QB who is on the run. Green Bay and even the Bears are also good at this with Rogers and Cutler. So it will be interesting to see how well it works against mobile QB's who are good...well only ok in the case of Cutler.

I feel like the Packers are the only team I can route for now. If they don't make it, I probably won't bother watching the Super Bowl.

I'll be going to the AFC Championship game. Hopefully the Steelers win so sitting in the 0 degree weather will be worthwhile.

I cant have the Steelers winning the SB, with Ben walking around with 3 rings and then I can't have the Jets win it all due to Rex Ryan and its the Jets! So go Packers or Bears do not disappoint!

Nothing personal Garey017, but I think that the Steelers are going to lose, and if they do some how win, I'll be rooting for the NFC Champions.

But other then that I think it has got to be the Jets they haven't been to a Super bowl for a very long time and the Steelers I think could just sit this Super Bowl out, and let some one else win it for once, and that goes for the Colts and the Patroits too, which I know they are out but I think it's time for a new AFC Champion other then for the Pats, Colts, or Steelers.

Now on to the NFC Side I like to see the Packers win the NFC Championship but then they need this more then the Bears, I mean the Bears are a really good team in all, but I just see the Bears screwing it up against the Jets, and plus the Bears already had a chance back Vs. the Colts, but the Packers Vs. the Jets could be a good match-up, I would like to see that on the Biggest stage in the NFL.

But one last thing after all of the talk and stuff about the Jets and everything, I think this would be a different way for the NFL Season to end, plus with the Lockout looming over head, but then again we shall see tonight who really is the Best of the Best in the AFC and the NFC.

Georgia mothers are rooting for packers for sure. Imagine the after party Big Ben will have. Mothers lock up your daughters.

I got a better idea. Why don't the Jets just earn themselves another superbowl. Its bad enough they they have gotten a free ride into the playoffs the last two seasons now other teams, better ones at that, should just lay down and let them win the whole thing two.

Fxxk the Jets.

The jets needed help by Jacksonvillie losing a game for them to get in. Yes once there they smashed the Pats but they needed help to get there.

? What? No one laid down for them this year. I believe they went into Pittsburgh and got a win, isn't that earning your way into the playoffs? They also finished three games ahead of the Jags... not one, THREE! I don't like the Jets either but you're just hatin' too much on this one.

I know they won in Pittsburg, after losing the previous 2 games, losing the one after it to the Bears and winning thier final game of the season. Not sure if I would call that rolling into the playoffs but they still got in.

"On a bizarre day when the Jets defense sprang leaks everywhere in a wild 38-34 loss to the Bears, the future Hall of Fame running back was the bearer of good news: The Jets (10-5) clinched a playoff berth Sunday by virtue of the Jaguars' 20-17 overtime loss to the Redskins about 10 minutes after Gang Green lost for the third time in four weeks."

or

Week 16 NFL playoff scenarios

N.Y. JETS

Clinch a playoff spot with:

1) Win or tie OR [That didn't happen]

2) Jacksonville loss or tie OR [This did happen]

3) Indianapolis loss or tie" [That didn't happen either]

As for the other teams laying down I was actually talking about a quote from another post in this thread where it was said...

"But other then that I think it has got to be the Jets they haven't been to a Super bowl for a very long time and the Steelers I think could just sit this Super Bowl out, and let some one else win it for once, and that goes for the Colts and the Patroits too, which I know they are out but I think it's time for a new AFC Champion other then for the Pats, Colts, or Steelers."

Which is why I asked if he felt that other teams should just lay down and let the Jets win it all then because that is what I got from that.

Do I not like the Jets. Sure. I am sure you don't have a lovefest with the Eagles,Giants or Redskins either. Do I hate them? That would depend on what part of them we were talking about. I respect thier game, thier coach, not so much when they start running thier mouths like they had been. or crowning themselves the nexr superbowl champs in like training camp.

Lots of teams clinch berths when another team loses. The Jets were in that position because they played really well early in the season. It's not like anyone rolled over for them, like the Colts did last year by resting their starters. I don't like the Jets, and I would have been glad to see them lose even if I wasn't a Steelers fan. But they deserved to get to where they were.
