Someone else pointed out that I'm pretty anti-Detroit in my threads. I looked back and realized that, yeah, it looks like I am. It's not like I hate the team, I just think they've done some pretty stupid things.
Look, I know they'll have a killer 3 WR set this year. You can practically go three wides, Kevin Jones, and Marcus Pollard every play and put up big numbers. Then again, this is what the St. Louis Rams do. They have far more inventive offenses than Mooch can come up with, and maybe they get to they playoffs, but they get bounced early.
Maybe Millen thinks he'll try and put fans in the seats first, get the Lions to the playoffs, and then try and focus on the defense. It's a great plan if he does it, but considering that his last four 1st round picks have been offense, and that Harrington may need to be replaced (Garcia is NOT a long term solution), my response is "not bloody likely."
I just get tired of people saying a team is great when they're only great on one side of the ball.
I don't know. Your thoughts?
