I think they have an outside chance since the NFC North is so bad and have winable games against the Jets and the bills out of the divsion. Rex Grossman has shown little progress in the preseason and Brad Johnson is pretty old and can be injured easily  and the lions are one of the worst teams in the league one of the more likely teams to end up with the number 1 pick in the draft. The Packers aren't good but it is possible to win  in that division if Ahmahn Green plays well and so does the defense and if Brett Farve doesn't make as many mistakes its possible for them to make the playoffs teams turn around quikly in the NFL.

They are good, they've improved since 04 which they won the division But they can only make it if Gado starts, Green is a horrible RB

I think if Jennings and the D emerge the Pack will have a shot. The CHI and GB game at the end of the year might decide the divison if the Packers can win 1 or 2 games that most people would have them loosing

The Bears will definately not have as good of a record as they did last year, so of coarse the Packers have a shot.

Kitna had a good year 2 years ago before getting benched due to Palmer, and you know Martz...he knows how to get the best out of veteran QBs.....im not saying they are gonna win the division im just saying they can compete.

I've got agree with Espurs a bit here, the Lions may surprise some people.  I don't think they'll be a playoff team, but they've got the talent to put up a respectable season.

All of the talent that they have hasn't done anything since they've all been drafted. None of the first rounders have done much except for Roy Williams.

thats if the packers defense steps up...honestly....whichever teams D steps up this year will tale the north...lions and vikings could be sleepers...but id take chicago over green bay just cuz they wont be giving up too many points even when they arent scoring too many themselves

i say no because they are too young this year.  maybe in four or five years, but who will be the qb then.  so many questions for the packers over the next couple of years.

Aaron Rogers will probably be the future if he proves his worth.
