Official now.

The Dolphins have selected Jake Long, OT out of Michigan. The NFL Union Mock Draft is wrong already. :P

Jake Long can very well have an immediate impact similar to what Joe Thomas did last year.

Well i must say I'm a bit shocked that Parcells didn't go for C. Long here, considering the Al Groh connection. Obviously, when Bill looks at Jake, he sees the second coming of another former Michigan OL, Jumbo Elliott

LT - Jake Long

LG - Justin Smiley

C- Samson Satele

RG - ?????

RT - Vernon Carey

I'm sure they'll draft a Guard later on but the the OL line looks solid for now.

Well I'm not so sure about that, the "great" Todd McShay thinks Thomas is the better offensive lineman between the two. However, I also heard that if Long had entered last year's draft, he would of been picked ahead of Thomas.

Stop calling him "great". :x And I'm not comparing the two on which is better, I'm just saying Jake Long can be just as important as Joe Thomas was in helping to establish a formidable o-line.

I agree with that and hopefully Ronnie can stay healthy this year because he'll be running behind an improved o-line.
