He's such an idiot, just wow. He talks like he's an elite QB, like I said in antoher topic Eli Manning is not even close to be a Top 5 QB, and you might argue he's not even a Top 10 QB. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers, Kurt Warner, Donovan McNabb, Carson Palmer, Jay Cutler, Ben Roethlisberger and Matt Ryan (though I might put him at a tie with him) are all better QBs than Eli Manning, and yet Eli gets the highest salary in the league. Thats ridiculous.

Well you gotta look at it from this point matt stafford got 41 million guaranteed and has never taking a pro snap.

Matt cassell just got a 72 million dollar contract for 1 season worth of work

And Big Ben sign an 104 million dollar contract in 07 and has almost simlar stats to eli with exception of extra SB trophy.

Add in the fact that their almost 10-15 teams always replacing qb's every 2 season,and only 1 qb has made it  to post season straight more time thanhim,the SB ring,mvp,probowl and amoutn money he genarate for them,never missed a start and has never had a top threat other than plax for most of his career.Since 2007 he's gotten better..if he project this route for rest of his career,the money won't be a waste

Most eli contract isn't guarantee,only 35 million to be exact,the rest are incentives(post season,Td's)

Does anybody deserve this type of money....No but at least give it to a guy who has proven his worth in league where people are replace like toys,if your gonna knockhim for his stats,it ok..but fantasy football won't win you a championship

How much was a waste on Canty and Eli? 

Eerily similar numbers to Peyton 's 7-year, $98 million deal.  Not quite sure Eli is worth that much money, but we'll find out in the next few years.
