Which of these teams who need a new coach, would you wanna coach the most?

Arizona Cardinals :
Positives - High draft pick, Powerful young offense.
Negatives - Young QB, Horrible Defense.

Atlanta Falcons :
Positives - Great running game, Vick.
Negatives - Vick!, No Receivers, 22 overall defense.

Miami Dolphins :
Positives - Great Defense, Good WR/RB/TE.
Negatives - No QB, Great defense but very old.

Pittsburgh Steelers :
Positives - Great offense, set at WR,RB,QB. Good players on defense.
Negatives - No CBs, Replacing a great coach who retired rather than a coach who got fired = Pressure.

Oakland Raiders :
Positives - Great young defense, Number 1 overall pick.
Negatives - Horrible offense, Al Davis, Randy Moss, No QB at all.

I think it's either the Cardinals or the Steelers.  The Cards have a nice young team and are still only a few pieces away from competing.  And the Steelers have most of the pieces in place, so it wouldn't be difficult for someone to step in.  An added bonus is job security, as the Rooney's are willing to stick by a coach through tough years and let him get back on track.

isnt jerry porter also a negative on the raiders? anyways, i would want to coach the falcons, or, believe it or not, one of the teams i hate... the phins. I would want to restore the falcons defense and vick's passing game.

Yea, I'd also have to say the Cards. They've got great weapons on offense and their defense isn't really that bad. Combine that with their pretty high pick they have in the draft, it's a great job to walk into if you're a coach.

I'd go with the Steelers.  You know that if you do decent there you have pretty good job security.  Look at how long they keep their coaches.  Chower was there for 15 years and Chuck Noll was there for 22 before him.  Therefore, the next coach they get will only be their third coach since 1969.

The Cardinals have the most potential, and they have a new stadium.  They would be my choice.

Karlos Dansby, Adrian Wilson, Bertrand Berry.

Karlos Dansby - OLB - 80 Tackles - 8 Sacks Adrian Wilson - SS - 82 Tackles - 5 Sacks - 4 int Bertrand Berry - DE - 23 Tackles - 6 Sacks

I'll give you Adrain Wilson, but the rest of those players are average to mediocre at best. The team does not even have one player with over 100 total tackles.

You woudlnt take 8 sacks from a OLB? Oh btw Berry and Dansby were both injured. Dansby didnt play till like week 6 or something.

Compare those players to the Packers "terrible" defense, and well... there is no comparison: A.J. Hawk - 119 tackles, 2.5 sacks Nick Barnett - 105 tackles Aaron Kampman - 89 tackles, 15.5 sacks Charles Woodson - 59 tackles, 8 interceptions Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila - 39 tackles, 6 sacks

What was the point of that? He said name some good players on the Cards, I did. So they must suck because there stats dont compare to the Packers?

I think the point is that a few good players do not make a defense good, which was the point I was trying to get across in the first place. He said he would take them for their good defense. So, in your opinion, is their defense good?

Read the first post. I did say they have a bad defense, I was just naming some good players. 1 of which was a pro bowler this year.

Good point but I would still take Arizona because they have a very cool stadium and could have the next Manning, Wayne, Harrison trio in Leinart, Boldin, and Fitzgerald.

Well that all sounds real nice, but Arizona is a loser almost every year, I must admit though that their coach Dennis Green lost his crediability a few years ago in Minnesota, when he would not stand up to Randy Moss and he got fired because of it

I would like to see what Arizona could do with a coach that has some crediability and if they do nothing with one, then they can never be regarded as a team that can ever be taken seriously

I would say the Steelers and the Falcons second.

I have to disagree. I think it is Arizona they have a lot of young talent on that team. While Miami has had quarterback issues ever since marino left. They have a great defense but it is very old. Their offense is anemic and ronnie brown isnt a runningback that was worth the number 2 overall pick. The Dolphins really need to rebuild but the cardinals definetely have some upside.

[QUOTE="Drunkenmasta"]Miami has to be the hottest job as of now.bulett6990
I have to disagree. I think it is Arizona they have a lot of young talent on that team. While Miami has had quarterback issues ever since marino left. They have a great defense but it is very old. Their offense is anemic and ronnie brown isnt a runningback that was worth the number 2 overall pick. The Dolphins really need to rebuild but the cardinals definetely have some upside.

Ronnie Brown is a very good back with the potential to be great, but we need a Good OL. OUr new HC should try to bring youth on Defense while improving our Offense
