Yeah okay. But there's a slight chance this could be a 1st-round playoff game. I mean, we could just anoint Saints as NFC South winner and call off all their games. (to do so assumes Payton isn't struck by "the fever" and Bush learns to execute a simple pitch :P )

I'll take the Eagles in this because of Brian Westbrook and McNabb. Also, between Samuel, Sheppard, and Brown, Steve Smith would be held at least somewhat in check. If that happens, Carolina is going to have problems. I'm not sure if Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams can literally carry team.

I agree with everything you say but you forgot to mention the fact the Eagles will fly down and rip out the Panthers eyes and then kill them slowly by tearing out pieces over time. Oh, and look for L.J smith to have a big year or maybe matt schobel.
Da Birds of course. Our window of opportunity may have closed but Carolina's is welded shut. I think the Eagles can get back to the 10 win mark this year, even in the tough NFC East. The Panthers are looking at 6 or 7 wins despite being in a so-so division.

Last time I heard Jake Delhomme can't throw a Hailmary, so it gets picked by Assante Samuel and he takes it back for a TD.
Not sure how well Delhomme will play after getting injured after 3 games last year and going up against the Eagles secondary really doesnt help so i pick the Eagles but this is a pretty evenly matched game...
