What a dumb move, when you have a coach like that who has been consistent for your team for so long you don't just show him the door like that, especially when the coaching market's so thin right now. I bet there are a few teams wishing they had waited a little longer to hire.

I think it's more tragic that they think Kerry Collins in his elder age can out perform Vince Young... So they release him? Bud Adams needs to get a grip on his organization. Fisher wasn't as vital but he was an average Head Coach with a Oilers/Titans record of 142-120. Heck, I'm a Vikings fan and I'm 100% satisfied with the fact that Singletary is the new LB/Assistant Head Coach. Fisher is an ethical "coach" but seems to be losing his touch. Fisher will get a better offer and if not he had a successful career as a Head Coach. These Titans need to hold onto Young if they still can, get a new interim head coach and go from there.

So Vince is gone and now Fisher is. I have no reason to care for Tennessee any longer.
