Ty Law is a for sure pick up! He is too good not to play on some team. Kerry Collins doesn't want to be a backup but that's all he should be! If he finally realizes that he will play. Otherwise, he will sit out the year.

Ty Law is a great player, teams just don't want to pay him the amount of money that he wants. As long as Kerry Collins goes to a team with exceptional receivers and a good running game, he should be fine.

Collins should go to the 49ers because then they would have a great teacher for Alex Smith. And Ty Law would be good on any team

That is true, but they're not free agents so they can't teach Alex Smith can they. I think it's a great idea for the 49ers to get Collins to teach Smith something. Plus Collins will be an insurance if Smith is sucking like he did last year.

Law isnt a risk, his still a pro bowl caliber player.  Collins wont get a starting job most likely but teams need veteren back-up QB's.

yeah law isnt a risk he's still a baller (footballer that is), but if collins is signed hes only gonna be a backup and i dont think you can risk on a backup
