In order to be in a slump, you have to actually win some games first then be on a losing streak for it to be named a slump.

I think the Lions aren't as bad as people may make them seem. Don't forget this team came within a FG of tieing the seahawks

Doesen't matter how much you lose by because at the end of the day, a loss is a loss. The Gianst lost to the Seahawks by a larger margin than the Lions did, but I'd bet my money that the Giants are way better than the Lions.

The problem with the Lions is that Kevin Jones cannot cutback properly, and the LB core isn't that great yet.  They do have a solid defensive line, but their secondary/pass defense lacks a bit.  Their offense is also inconsistant.  Kitna can't lead them to the playoffs, that would just be absurd.  He's good, but he's not going to be like what Brad Johnson did last year when Dante got hurt.  KJones has to break out, and so does Roy Williams, for them to be a successful offense.  It doesn't even look like a Mike Martz' offense. =O

Yea I think Roy Williams will be considered a top reciever by the end of this year. I think Kitna will be a big improvement to this tea because he throws consistent passes and that's how Roy likes it he doesn't like going up in the air for a 50 yard pass. So I think Roy will feel very comfortable with Kitna as QB and so will Mike.
