Madden 06 GS review: 8.2

it's still a positive review, just compared to the advancements made in past maddens is what made the review down. I don't really care though, all ea had to do for me to buy it was update the rosters.00KevinMZ

yeah, same here, i've always loved the gameplay and with the perks added in it should be good

As a Franchise player 95% of the time , I could spend 10$ on madden 05 and except for rosters and the passing cone, I've got the EXACT SAME GAME!!! WTF. I'll get Madden on PS3 until then EA can con somebody else out of 50$

look people the only way madden is going to get better (maybe) is if people dont buy this rip-off , and force EA to upgrade thier product. EA's laughing all the way to the bank. 50$ for a roster upgrade. sad.....yamabushi98

You need to re-evaluate the game and it's "new" contents and then muse over whether or not the fifty bones you spent is a fair charge for the consumer...Vision and Precision, Updated Rosters, Truck Stick...are not worth the $50.00 price tag. This may be the last year I buy a football game...unless some serious changes are made, it's just not a wise investment...however much I love football.

Truth... if you owned Madden 05 buy 2K5 and if you owned 2K5 buy Madden 05 -- save money, get something new, and let EA know to do better next time.

Well you kinda did it half-assed...Jon McGraw got traded by the Jets for a 4th Rounder. And I went to ESPN.COM and went to the player list and literally spent about 2 hours just putting free agents on their right team. But I actually ended up having to release somebody from the Chiefs because they had to high of a payroll...even though that's really unrealistic. I also couldn't sign two Raiders for the same reason and couldn't sign a bunch of others because the roster was full. I basically solved that by just keeping whatever player had a higher rating at that position...if they didn't, I just left 'em in free agency.
