Who do you guys think are the most underrated teams in the NFL? Here is my list:

1. San Francisco 49ers- Even after that 45-10 debalacation at the hands of the Falcons, I still do like the 49ers. They are mainly unnoticed because they are a team that has struggled in recent history and they receive no style points for their play. However, Mike Singletary has made this a tough, hard-nosed squad who doesn't care about how they win, so long as they win. They'll bruise, batter and wear down their opponents. The fact that they were competitive against the Vikings after Gore went down really does excite me. What Singletary has done to this group is fantastic. Remember how selfish Vernon Davis used to be? He admits that Singletary has made him see the light: it is just not about him, it is about the team. This is a hard-working squard, and Singletary should be nominated for Coach of the Year if they make it to the playoffs

Patrick Willis

2. Miami Dolphins- An 0-3 start and a Pennington injury have allowed the Fins to enter underrated territory. Believe it or not, but Henne is better suited than Pennington for this offence. No one is afraid of Pennington's pathetic arm, but Henne has an extremely powerful arm to go along with this deadly running game of Brown, Williams and Cobbs and their Wildcat. Rushing defence is also a major strength. Expect them to surprise quite a few in the next few weeks. Wildcard spot isn't out of the question.

Chad Henne

3. Arizona Cardinals- This defence has actually improved, especially in the past few weeks. Even though Warner isn't what he was like even last year, he still has Fitzgerald, Boldin and Breaston to throw to. Expect a tight race between them and the 49ers for the division title.

I think that we know what the 49ers are and can take them out of the underrated category now.

Miami, yes, but not to a great degree.

The Cards will fight week after week but won't beat too my, me thinks.

I also find it funny that you don't mention the Jags, despite the picture you used.  While the AFC South isn't the beast we thought it would be the Colts are the crown jewel but the Texans and Jags are both underrated teams that shouldn't be ignored.

Miami is more overlooked instead of underrated. I think people know they are good but they perfer to talk about the Patriots and Jets.

Texans to me are underrated because people do not think they are good but quite frankly their offense can hang with the best of them and they're defense is solid enough to perhaps get a 10-6 record if the ball bounces their way in a few games.

49ers are underrated i agree on that. Solid defense and great running game. If Shaun Hill manages to be a little bit more of a game manager they will make the playoffs, they have Crabtree, Morgan and Vernon Davis to help Hill so he should succeed plus some guy named Frank Gore i heard he is pretty good. (Lol)

I forgot about the Texans, and that for the last few years their slow start has always killed them. This 3-3 start really is not too bad for them, and this looks like the best team they've ever had (Schuab's done well, their receivers are deadly, Slaton can still improve over the course of the year, and their defence still isn't great at all, but they do have talent there with Williams, Ryans and Cushing). If they pull off their usual hot finish, they should make it in as a wildcard team.

I'm not quite sure to tell you who the most underrated team in the NFL, but I am pretty sure the most overrated team is the Chicago Bears.  That team def did their homework before trading Orton away for Cutler.

Cutler is a later version of Brett Favre. That dumb "gunslinger" attittude that makes you throw 3 INTs. Plus he needs an attitude adjustment.
