Coaches validate Harrison's rep as NFL's dirtiest player
Eleven of the 18 head coaches who responded singled out Rodney Harrison.
A review of data since '01 shows Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson with a league-high 17 personal fouls. Harrison and Saints DE Will Smith are tied for second with 14, followed by Patriots DL Richard Seymour (13), Dolphins DE Jason Taylor (12), late Redskins safety Sean Taylor (12) and Browns DL Shaun Rogers (11).
The numbers suggest Harrison's name belongs in the first paragraph of any discussion about the NFL's dirtiest players -- but perhaps not at the exclusion of others. LINK

Sixteen different players received a vote from one of the 30 coaches who answered this specific survey question about smart players. Coaches were encouraged not to vote for a player on their team.
Tennessee center Kevin Mawae, Indianapolis center Jeff Saturday and Patriots WR Randy Moss tied for second with three votes apiece. Two players, Philadelphia LT Jon Runyan and St. Louis WR Torry Holt, received two votes. But Ward was the winner with four votes. LINK
