as I was watching NFL live, John Clayton said that Rodney Harrison's torn Quad will end his career, because it takes 8 to 12 months to recover and with his age, it is simply too much to overcome

I hate to see any great player have their ended like this, but at least he has won Super Bowls, I just hope he realizes he has a great future in Coaching, this guy would make a great Secondary Coach or maybe even a Defensive Coordinator and realize trying to make a comeback is not even worth it, because he would not be able to play till late next year and with his age, that is too much to overcome

Ouch. Torn quad. He had a fine career even though he had a mean streak about him. Hopefully, he can recover.

Well he has a great Coaching Career ahead of him, if he decides to pursue it and I hope he does, because he is a good mentor to young players and could start as a Secondary Coach and work his way up the coaching ladder

It's a shame, but I honestly expected him to retire at the end of the season anyway.

He won't be the only older player on that Patriots defense having their career end. Shame his career ended because of injury and not personal choice. Oh well

My sympathies to Rodney. It's always a shame to see a player's career end due to injury. :(
