[QUOTE="CommanderShiro"]F*** em F*** em. I hope they fail in their future. Their fans can kiss my ass too. :xBobblesHaha. Please don't slit the wrists dude.
The same can be said to Vince Young
I expect them to worse than last season. The loss of Haynesworth will affec them negativly. Collins will not have as good as a season as the last for sure and I wouldn;t be surprised if that ends up being a fluke. And if Young should end up at center again that won't help either because he was never that good anyway. 6 to 8 wins.
i have no idea how they are so good...haha

Lol. I think a couple of years ago we were all picking them to be the worst in the league.
I think they will get a Wild card as the Jags or the Colts will either both get in or one or the other would win the South Division.
Overlooking the big loss of Haynesworth, I think we still have a good team. I believe we can still be playoff contenders. I wish Jim Schwartz didn't leave, though. As much as I want Collins to stay the starter, he will probably take a shot that will take him out the game for a bit. Vince is still fighting for that back up job behind Collins, and I feel the only way he can get it is if he starts truly playing like his rookie season. He is a mobile quarterback trying to be pocket passer and he's not doing a good job at it. He needs escape the pocket a bit more and keep the defense on their heels, and then attack with some passes of his own. Even though I am picking my team, as a die-hard Titans fan, to win the Super Bowl:P, I want to wait till some more preseason games pass to see what exactly do we have at the helm for this 2009 season.Â
BUT, if I had to guess, 11-5, on top of division.
2000 rushing yards for VY. Espurs117
From the 3rd string, don't think so. Has anyone ever posted 2,000 yards from the QB spot?
There are 5 2,000 yard rushers in the NFL: O.J. Simpson, Eric Dickerson, Barry Sanders, Terrell Davis, and Jamal Lewis. Really think Vince (I can't start in the NFL) Young is going to crack 2,000? L.T. hasn't even done it and you think "VY" is going to do it? Don't think so buddy. Let's be realistic about our claims in this union, shall we?

Cpt. Buzzkill at it once again. How do you sleep at night knowing no one will give a s*** in the morning?
Are you saying that no one really cares about the facts in this union? Or are you really saying that when the facts go against some outlandish usless statement you made it is s***? At least some people take time to look up stats to back up their claims.

I dont know if he had to look it up or not. All I know it that most people that post on this union throw out opinions and never use facts.

Nice to see you in here justified. I agree with most of what you said. I tend to put them at 10-6 b/c their schedule is rough. Collins has to stay healthy as VY just isn't any good. I don't see the loss of Haynesworth to be that big a deal. They have so much talent on that side of the ball they will be fine.

I was thinking the same thing as well. sarcasm isn't easy to detect on the internet, but it was so obvious that was sarcasm.
Anyways, I'm not really sure about the Titans. I could see them being a Super Bowl contender, or they could finish below .500. The loss of Haynesworth is a great loss, and some people might not see of how big of a loss it will be. Now, their DL isn't as dominant as they were, as both DEs are aging, and their current DTs are unproven. The Titans really started to shine when Haynesworth started to emerge. Now, the aging defensive ends will not have as many one-on-one matchups as last year, and their two undersized DTs will not have the luxery of having Haynesworth occupying two offensive linemen.
If you don't get what I mean, I'll say it like this. Haynesworth brought pressure up front, and needed to be double teamed. This allowed either the rest of the D-Line to make plays due to constant one on one matchups, or bought pressure to the QB, and that made the secondary shine. Now, since he's gone, QBs may have more time to throw, and with receivers easily getting open more, the secondary may struggle next year. The same thing happened to San Diego with the loss of Merriman.
With the defence in decline, now Kerry Collins will have to be in win more more than last year, when he was simply in just managing mode. Chris Johnson was terrific as a rookie, and I'm excited for his future, and the OL is elite, so the running game is this teams strength. However, they may have to rely on their passing game more than they did last year, and Johnson may not get the ball as much as he wants to.
If Haynesworth had another year in this team, I'd have them as a strong 11-5 wildcard team. However, people don't realize how much of a loss Haynesworth is, and he is irreplacable. I think that they they will finish around .500, and miss the playoffs.
