Some media analysts have claimed that Tiki has become a distraction and has given up on the team. Well, Tiki fired back calling these people idiots.

I believe he is not being a distraction. If anything, the media is causing it to be a distraction. I think his teammates understand what Tiki wants to do and is content with letting the man make his own decisions in life. The Giants have been winning and it looks like he's been giving them 100%, so what the heck.

You're right, there's no way Tiki is being a distraction.  For one, most of the team already knew how he felt and that he was considering it last season.  If anything, yes, it's the media that turns it into a distraction and creates bone-head statements like "giving up on the team".

As a NY Giants fan, I truely don't think that Tiki is being a distraction. I believe that Tiki will try his best to help him team win games and that shows well during the Cowboys game. He will be missed alot but I think he can surely win the Superbowl with Giants this year.

i would love to see him get a ring before he retires.  that is about the only award he does not have.  i would also love to see eli get a ring before his big bro so he can have bragging rights about being the first manning to win a ring.  that would be classic.

Yeah, Irvin knows about distraction. Fortunately for him, all the cocaine he did was never a problem for the team.

I was listening to Mike and Mike Podcast and Irvin was talking about how Tiki's comment on his retirement would distrack NY Giants for this season. I don't think he's right on this point. I think NY Giants will be just fine with Tiki this season.

The media gets money for blowing things out of proportion. I'm not surprised by this.

Tiki will still go out on give 100% in everything he does. he is more than likely going to retire when this season is over so everybody love tiki and his plays while you can becuse it's over (80% chance he will retire after this season but if he does i don't think he will be inducted into the hall of fame)
