while i agree with almost everything you said ... unfortunately some team, some where, will think they need him enough or have the where-withall to keep him in line. so unless he chooses to quit, we'll be seeing TO again. and frankly the way the Eagles have mis-handled things so far. Terrell Owens is a lot like steroid users in baseball. He's stained the game so the NFL doesn't want anything to do with him. Too bad Bud Selig isn't the commissioner of football because he would have been long gone if that were the case.
To tell you the truth, the way the Eagles passed the ball against a pretty good Washington defense, I don't think the Eagles do need him. They got to three NFC Championship games without him, they do it again...even thougth I don't think they will because they can't run the ball.

Yeah, I know we don't agree with that issue but personally, the first time I heard you say that, I thought you were $%^&*!@ nuts! In fact, in our campus newspaper, there was a similar argument in the sports discussion only it was about whether Favre should hang up the cleats for the rest of this season and hand over the controls to Aaron Rodgers. But still that's a different matter. I talked to a lot of people around this MINNESOTA campus about whether Brett Favre is a legend and just about everyone I asked thought he was a legend.

The Eagles don't need him, per se, but they need someone of his calibur. McNabb's career QB rating without him has 76.8 (Approximately), so now'll he'll fall back to that level. Their running game is decent, but they don't exploit it to their full potential. Plus, he will be released, not traded.
Who do you guys think will pick him up? I think no one will. They dont want any of his drama on thier teams. It's like I heard on Jim Rome is Burning, if Philly didnt please him, how do you think the other teams will?
