He needs a WR.Espurs117

Well that is true, but I wonder why is it that everytime he gets a good WR that comes to his team, they never play good for him? I mean Peerless Price a few years ago was great before he came to Atlanta, when he played in Buffalo and then you have first round picks like Michael Jenkins who cannot seem to mesh with him

I wonder who is the real problem it is Micheal Vick or is it the WR's that he has had?

Well Price went to Dallas and then back to Buffalo......and he showed nothing. It reminded me of the Alvin Harper trade, we got a 1st rounder for him and he was a complete flop at Tampa....Irvin made him look good like Moulds made  Price look good.

Meh. If it came along with more success in the throwing game...I supposed I'd be more happy for the guy.

I think the bigger achievement is Edgerin James being the first guy to go over 1000 yards rushing in Arizona in eight years.

Vicks problem is that he can't read defenses...it has nothing to do with his receivers lack of ability.  There have been QBs out there do a lot more than Vick does with alot less wide receivers.

Maybe if Vick had a Randy Moss (the way he played with Minnesota) then he could be better. His receivers have dropped a lot of balls this year. No QB is complete without a good receiver though. I mean look at Tom Brady, he sucks without Deion Branch.

Yes that is why Tom Brady was able to throw to 6 different recievers and have a quarterback rating over 100 yesterday. Tom Brady doesn't need Branch.

Atlanta needs to sign a big-play receiver for Vick.  Vick has never had a go-to guy that he could depend on.

You could almost say that... How many times does a QB have to look off a safety in order to drop a pass in a tight spot...you never hear of Vick doing anything like this... If the WR doesn't get open all by himself then Vick just takes off and runs. Maybe his problem isn't being able to read and manipulate defenses, but it's the fact that he runs so well that he doesn't spend enough time working on the little things that make QBs great and just depends on his ability to run.

How can you trust your receivers when they drop balls all the time?

Yes there are plenty or dropped passes down in ATL...BUT...he has Alge Crumpler, Ashlie Lelie, and Roddy White , and Michael Jenkins. Ashlie Lelie put up decent stats in Denver, Roddy White was supposed to be a stud. I think even if he had someone like Moss in their prime, he wouldnt ge tthem the ball. He just isnt that great of a QB. He is an amazing athlete who shows flashes of real talent, but overall can't get it done.

I wish that we could put Vick with Marvin Harrison and Jerry Rice in the primes of their careers for 1 year and see how Vick does, because having 2 great WR's, would give us the real answer on whether or not this guy is WR killer or not

It could happen. Vick has plenty of time left in his career and Atlanta can sign a good receiver anytime.
