T.O actually said something that i agree with:
T.O. doesn't seem too concerned about the Redskins signing DeAngelo Hall. Matter of fact, he hopes he sees Hall on the field Sunday. "At the rate he's playing, I'm looking forward to a big day," Owens told the Associated Press at his book signing today in New York. "I'm no stranger to playing against him. I've had success against him just as much as everybody else has, so if he's out there, I'm looking forward to playing him."
Dallas Morning NewsÂ
^meh, it's a good rule when one's team wins.:P Anyway, first team on offense doesn't always win game.
I gotta quit changing picks, i'm like 2-9 when doing so. :x **** Favre!!!
[QUOTE="Ryder004"]cadillac might play this week and he is on the active roster, to make room bucs cut RB micheal bennet. in other news GOW2 ownsgeaux321
I'm glad he's back, that was a pretty bad injury.
yeah but he will probably be 3rd string, tied with clifton smith.Â
and micheal bennet signed withe the bolts, i knew he wouldnt last too long on the FA market
I wouldn't be so mad at the OT rules right now then I would be with the defense if I were you. 3rd and 15 and they let them convert for the first, come on now.Bobbles
oh don't get me wrong the defense sucked when it counted late in the game tonight, but Casell was the s*** tonight which was a great sign and set a Patriots record of throwing over 300 yards and rushing for over 50 yards in one game, and that pass to Moss was a beautiful play! it's just the OT rules don't really have the best team winning, it should be a whole quarter until whoever has the highest score after the end of that OT quarter makes a lot more sense, don't you think? I am not saying this just cause the Pats lost, i am over that i just hate the rule and always have even when it doesn't involve teams i don't care about.

I know your question is directed toward Bobbles, but I thought I'd add my thoughts before the conversations ends, if I may. I've always been a fan of the way OT is played out in college ball (sure, it creates WAY easy opportunities to just keep on scoring, but it works). Therefore, my personal opinion is that the NFL should try something similar. At any rate, I'm with you in not being a fan of the NFL way of playing OT. :|

I don't mean to be argumentative ( ), but, imho, the NCAA OT is effin horrible - putting ball at the 20 is just plain juvenile, why not the 50? Plus, it eliminates Special Teams from the equation (no punts or kickoffs). ^ Thanks for the correction. What's the origin of the system, is it an NCAA idea or taken from HS FB?
Either way, I hate it and if watching an NCAA game that goes to OT I now change channel or erase it from TiVo. For instance, once Miles ( or was it Meyer?) successfully argued that under old system he'd have two ties instead of losses ... why bother wasting my time if an overtime outcome means nothing?
NCAA is terribly flawed in many areas. I've lost almost all attachment to FB on that level these days. :(

Honestly, I think there are positives and negatives to that version and NFL OT.

I was simply stating my opinion too. I didn't say you were wrong to like and/or praise the NCAA system.
My principle issue is that after two teams battle for 60 mins and end in a tie, suddenly, the rules of the game change and special teams no longer play a role in the outcome. And, I'll state it again, cuz that's how much i hate it, the "ball on the 25" is just lame... 50 yard-line, give the D a chance to make a play.

NCAAF OT is basically like the AFL.
Not that it matter or anything, but Javon Walker is out for the season and probably career. In 8 games he had a grand total of less than 200 yard receiving. Also DMac will finally be playing this week so I have something to look forward too.haloraider
he still isnt going to do anything to help. As long as Al Davis is with the Raiders, they will be Losers.

does he still keep the 46 million?
[QUOTE="Espurs117"]lol Vikings last attempt at a game winning drive....-8 yards and a fumble. Ryder004
if u saw this, how about aqib talib being extemely tight on that deep pass on the first play of that last drive??? still think flowers is the best outa the draft?
lmao. Are you serious? The ball was up in the air forever. Also it was Bobby Wade. Seriously Ryder stop being a homer. Ferrotte pass was worse than a Brad Johnson pass. I actually thought he punted it since its hangtime was amazing.Â
F*ck this whoevers calling the plays in Minnesota needs to get fired fckng idiot the Vikings have the best RB in the game and guess what they do when the games on the line? they throw the ball with one of the worst starting QB's in the league pathetic the Vikes should just fire every single staff member because they are all worthless (especially Childress)

im not talking $hit, just stating how ur D tried to go man to man coverage almost the whole game and they kept getting burned and beat and they refused to get out of it. and i got give some credit to Donald Penn for not giving up a sack against J.Allen, the dude hasnt given up sacks all year and he also has gone up against Will Smith,Tamba Hali,Julious Peppers and John Abraham.
