i am now super pumped up for sunday night's game.  hopefully, the chiefs will dedicate the rest of this season to lamar hunt and win the super bowl for him.  i do not know if this will happen, but hopefully it will light a fire underneath them.

i'm really surprised about the saints. I didnt think drew brees would be passing that well with you know, his injury. He has mainly carried this team.

I donno how you can't be surprised with the Saints. Almost everyone expected them to be third if not the bottom of their division. Now Brees and Bush are carrieing them to a first round bye in the playoffs.

I noticed this past week, that the weekly discussion thread from this past week was still stickied by Wednesday Morning and I think 12 hours after the Monday Night Game ends, by 12pm on Tuesday, that thread should be unstickied, because that is plenty of time to discuss what happened Sunday and during Monday night's game

Seattle definality looked like a team that had a huge collapse Thursday Night, Seattle just is not playing up to where they are capable of playing and it is downright pathetic and they do not deserve to get in the playoffs

I had a feeling they would be good this year, but I wasn't expecting first in their Division with the possibility of a first round bye in the playoffs.

same with me. they got swept by the niners in the season series. they just don't have the same team as last year. alexander going down early in the year really hurt them

Well i guess Dem Boyz will face my birds 2morrow and i hope that the falcons come out with talons stretched and the cowboys dont pull out pistols on 'em.  But anyway if the whole team sohws up for tommorow night game than i think the falcons can win it.  It wont be easy but i think they can do it.

Rivers has yet to play in a playoff game, he may have a tough time adjusting to all the pressure. They're not exactly a lock for the SuperBowl.

Yup everyone seems to forget that this is Rivers first year as a starter, we dont know how he will play in the playoffs. Damit I guess that goes for Romo too.

if your quarterback is so bad that he cant hand the ball off to the runningback than i dont think that he deserves to play in the NFL cuz thats pretty much all that san diego has to do to score points.  Or have L.T. run up and complete a pass.

It's very hard to go far in the playoffs being one-dimensional. They will have to do more than just hand it off to LT to win.

Demarcus Ware 41 yard INT TD. Dallas up 14-0. He picked off Vick, Schaub is 1-1 and Vick is 0-2 with one INT for a TD so far.

31-28 Dallas, late 3rd. Vick has 4 TD passes, Romo has 2, both to TO. Nobody seems to be running well as they have 140 yards combined. Its shaping up to be a good finish, to bad it isnt on regular TV instead of that damn NFL Network.

Yes I am suprised by the N.O. Saints. As many of you know I am huge Saints fan. I couldn't be prouder to be a Saints fan to. Not only because of how well they have played but what the team has done off the field as well.

ON The Field.- When they got rid of Jim Haslett, Aarron Brooks, and a big portion of the team. And they brought in Sean Payton, Drew Brees and Reggie Bush, and basically an entire new team. I became extatic, I was so happy. Although I still had my doubts, because on local news shows they stated that the Saints looked good but no where near playoff contenders. that was during Trainning Camp. Then the preseason when we finished 1-3 ouch. I thought this team would need a couple of years to gel togther, but it was still nice we had a new team and the Saints were here to stay. Then the season started I knew thigs were diffrent about this team from week 2 in Greenbay when the Saints were down but fought back. 1st time in forever the Saints fought back. even with their losses they still tried and tried.

OFF The Field- To be honest here what suprises me even more. I might expect it from a college program but not professional...ok maybe from a professional team. Now not a lot of this has been on sports programs like ESPN or whatever, but the way this team has done for the city of New Orleans. They have given up time, money, and evrything to get this city back on its feet. For a few examples

Reggie- He has donated a huge amount of time, money and effort to helping the city.He went to a shelter and unloaded food, and everything. here is a pic if you don't believe me.

And thats only the start. He visited schools, helped rebuild a football field for a brec park, and so many other things.

Drew Brees and his wife bought a house in Metarie the outskirts of N.O. and it was an old time home that was destoryed by Katrina. The rebuilt it refurbished everything and are living in it. They always visit with the comunnity and everything else. Drew in his spare time went to a Barnes and Knobles to read christmas stories to little kids.

Sean Payton has ordered his team to get to the Superdome at least 3hrs befrore warm ups to greet the fans, sigh autographs, ect...........
Now this is only a small portion of what they have done I could go on and on

Well that Game last night between Dallas and Atlanta was a wild game, that could have gone either way, I do think the Penalties on Atlanta and the lack of Discipline really hurt their team and Dallas had a good game and Tony Romo showed that he can have a great game after a tough loss and they beat a good team on the road, a big plus going into the playoffs

On a seperate note, because Tommorow night's Monday Night Game is one of the biggest that we have had in a while, I think it should have it's own thread seperate from the weekly discussion, I will put the thread up before the day is over with today

Charles Woodson may be the worst punt returner I have ever seen. So far he's returned two for negative yards and fumbled on his third return.

Carolina is making people that picked them to go to the Superbowl look like the biggest bunch of JackA$$es who know nothing about Football at all, they are going to get beat by Pittsburgh and they have looked like S**T this year as well

New Orleans being down to sorry Washington? Say it ain't so, I do not want to see New Orleans get beat by the sorry Redskins and it would be an embrassment for their team and I hope New Orleans comes back and wins

I am very disappointed to see Giants lose like that. God, I can't believe that Tiki could not prevent that interception.
