I guess. If the Bucs get swept by the Saints, then no. They have two good teams, one awful team, and an average team. The Bucs still haven't beat a team worth mentioning, they aren't a playoff team.

As far as playoff ramifications, the Chiefs/Rams game may be the biggest game of the week.

With the Chargers likely winning, the Chiefs really need to win to stay 1 game ahead. And the Rams are right in the thick of the NFC West situation. With Seattle crapping their pants and blowing a game they needed to win last week and almost definitely losing this week, the Rams could take a 1 game lead. And a win in the NFC West counts as like 2 wins anywhere else.

The plot thickens in New York with "Thigh-Gate", "Knee-Gate" or "Trip-Gate" as apparently the actions of the Jets staff tripping a Dolphins player during the game last week have been found to have premeditated. The Jets are now saying that strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi has been suspended indefinately since he apparently told "non-uniformed" players to form a wall.

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/New-York-Jets-Sal-Alosi-suspended-indefinitely-121510?gt1=39002

Personally before I read this I felt it was something Jets staff/players were told to do given away by how they were lined up like that but I am not so sure Alosi is ring leader and more likley a fall guy.

Edit: After reading Jets special teams coordinartor Mike Westhoff's comments that the Patriots build walls too I fairly convinced that he was the guy that set this all up because that just seems so whiney of thing to say and clearly a misdirection ploy from a team who has no way to explain themsleves out of this.

Polamalu likely out this week

That sucks (unless you're a Ravens fan). I remember very clearly how the Steelers fared last year when Polamalu was out. The guy is about as big of a difference maker as you'll ever see on a defense. I just hope the Jets pick up where they left off the last couple weeks. Then maybe the Steelers can give Troy an extra week off when they play the Panthers.

Yeah that does suck I was beyond sure the Steelers would kill the sinking Jets but now I have to worry because I seem to remember they didn't do so well when Polamalu was out last from injury.

That being said, still feeling the Steelers are the better team here.

Redskins have now moved McNabb down the depth chart to 3rd string for the rest of season. Rex Grossman will start this week. Wow...that's all I can say.

I never undertand why the Skins do most of what they do. That team truly confuses the hell out of me.

Link to the story.

My favorite line in the story: "The guys are extremely pissed" one Redskins player told me.

Looking like no chance in hell that Rogers plays for GB this week.

Two other very important injuries to watch are the both on the Jags with Jones-Drew and Garrard. Both are questionable.

Wow, Steelers got robbed on that no-call when the jersey got held (inb4 it's about time the shoe was on the other foot). Also, I hate DeSean Jackson now, that's the second time in two weeks that I got burned on a pick because of a huse, last-minute punt return, although I guess I did benefit from Jackson's return last week.

Tough gritty win for the Patriots, I expected the Packers to play tough. We still have some work to do both offensively and defensively.

Joe Webb doesn't even get to start.  I bet he's relieved he can wear that coat on the sidelines.

After the game he and Favre had I don't think he would've wanted to start, he probably wishes T-Jack was still backing Favre up.
