Statistics show that if you start the season 0 - 3, less than 4% of those teams make the playoffs.  Who do you think out of the 0 - 2 teams have the best chance of avoiding the dreaded 0 - 3 and make the playoffs?

the chiefs because they looked good this weekend on defense and once trent returns(who knows when that will be), i think they will get it turned around.  thankfully, we have our bye week this week, so we can get huard some more work behind center.

Probably Carolina, as Smith will be a huge help when he gets healthy.  They have tough division though, so it's a good thing for them that TB started in an 0-2 hole as well.

Carolina. I had them in the Super Bowl along with some other, and that obviously was not correct but I think they should be able to get into the playoffs

Yes its Carolina, Steve Smith is their biggest weapon and Delhomme is stinking up the place without him.

A better question would be what team other than Carolina. The Panthers just need Steve Smith back and fix the problems on their O-Line and they should be better. Even though they do play in a tough division, they still have some games they can win on their schedule.

Miami.  They have a stud running back in Ronnie Brown, a very good quarterback in Daunte Culepepper, a legit #1 wideout in Chris Chambers, and a capable pass-catching TE in Randy McMichael.

With that schedule, I don't think they have a chance.

I think the Chiefs have the best chance.  A good running game is always important to winning.  One player doesn't make or break a team to the point of the Panthers right now and the Dolphins were way overhyped.  I personally don't think any of them have over a 50% chance of getting in but the Chiefs certainly in my opinion have the best chance even with their extremely tough division.

Larry Johnson is getting stopped by defenses now that Trent Green is out, and the Chiefs haven't been able to develop a passing game without Green. The defense needs to step up and they haven't. That's why they won't make the playoffs.

I think the Redskins could make it, if Burnell was not their Quarterback, he is simply too old and washed up, but Job Gibbs fails to realize that and he will not try and have any patience to work with a younger Quarterback, they have some talent offensively, but forget it, as long as Burnell is their starting Quarterback!!!

Kansas City is simply too old at too many key positions, they have an aging Quarterback, Trent Green at 36, their receivers are getting old and they lost 1 or 2 of their starting offensive lineman from last season and their defense just plain sucks
