Tom Brady is about as good as it gets. Some people still say Manning is the best but I completely disagree. Manning has always had Harrison to throw the ball to along with some other weapons out on the field. Brady has not. Brady has never really had anyone like that to throw the ball to. The only reciever I can name for the pats thats played over the past few years is Troy Brown, I think thats his name. This year is going to be different as long as no one gets injured. Its like Mcnabb and TO all over again except Brady has won the super bowl a couple of times without anyone to really throw the ball to and I always take that into account when I compare QBs. Also, Brady will be able to throw the ball to Donte Stallworth as well which should add some more speed to the offense. The pats shouldn't have a hard time at all making to the playoffs if all goes well.

omg finally some one who agrees with me!

Tom Brady has never really had that big play receiver like Peyton Manning, even last year, Brady lost his two best WR and still went 12-4 and made it to the playoffs. IF Peyton Manning lost his two best WR, Marvin Harrison and that other guy i forget his name, Manning wouldn't be able to do anything because he cant trust anyone except those two guys, and those two guys make Manning look better then he really is.

Anyways Tom Brady is my pick, the MOST clutch QB ever in the Game! and does match up with the liek of Montana, Elway, Bradshaw, etc

The Patriots went 12-4, not Tom Brady. I seem to remember them having a defense, most teams do. And they had a pretty good one, too.

Sorry but you got the wrong info. He was suspended because he stayed home and not at the place where the team was staying. So swing and a miss.

No; He got in a fight with his teammates in Camp. Then He violated a team rule by staying at home.... i cited 2 examples of how they can already say that he is suffering from the madden curse

And I think Tom Brady is the most dominant QB of this ERA. He is better than Manning. Not stats wise, but as a passer and a team player hes head and shoulders way above teh rest

They may have a good defense but lets say Brady gets injured in the middle of the season and doesn't come back then I would say they would be very lucky to make the playoffs at that point and as far as superbowl goes well forget it.

Thats kinda like saying the Bulls would still have won as many NBA titles as they have without MJ. Now Tom Brady may not have quite as big of an impact as MJ had with the Bulls but pretty much on every offensive possession his hand is touching the ball. Its is quite comparable seeing as both of them contribute to championships even though MJ played basketball its still comparable because the bulls wouldn't have won half as many championships without MJ and neither would the pats without Brady. The pats would be lucky to have won 1 superbowl without Tom Brady in the past 5 years or so.

Newbpwnage's logic behind VInce's preseason sit out being th Madden curse doesn't make a lot of sense to me but mark my words the Madden curse is real and will affect Vince somehow someway, even if it is slightly minor.

I meant those were two items are arguments that people can use to say that its real even if nothing else happens. Hes been in a fight and been suspended. (ok thats not in context.....)....
