1 year later, is the Wii still impossible to find?

Is the Wii still hard to find in your area even a year after launch? If I can't find one before Christmas, which really doesn't help me with holiday shopping going on right now, I might end up gettin the PS3 and gettin a Wii sometime mid to late next year, but I'm gonna be missing out on so many great games. :(

Same here. Mine is still the last I've seen in stores.

I'm hoping to get either a Wii or PS3 sometime soon. Problem with the Wii obviously has been availability. I haven't checked the availability for the Wii in stores lately, but I do know that it's still impossible to find online, other than maybe EBay.

You would probably better off with checking with bestbuy for wii.

I am working with bestbuy again, and we usually get some wiis like once a month.

I had a chance to get wii, but I always passed it on to other people. Because I really didn't want wii back then.

I wasn't planning on getting a wii until Super smash bro comes out, but I am a huge fan of RE Series. I really want to play Umbrella chornicles.

I will probably get one as soon as I see one and I am sure it will be in few weeks.

I've seen quite a few Wiis. You just gotta be vigilant on finding one. A lot of stores hold their stock till sunday so call the day prior and find out who is selling.hiho24

Since release I have seen 2. And each were on different days, and they were the last ones being bought.

And I have been looking for them just to see if they are still rare.

I sell mine on ebay for $100 profit each.

You could probably find them in stores if you are looking hard enough.

i have some friends in MI that say the same.

Also most ebay sellers are from MI, I guess they find places to easily get them for resale!

Yup. Last few months I have had several opportunities to buy Wiis. While i have only seen Wiis once on store shelves, they are regularly in stock at several of the Gamestops in my area (SoCal). Just ask if they have them in stock. Shipments are hitting stores on a weekly basis.

just call ahead to see when their next shipment will arrive. its kinda fun knowing u have one, and lots of other ppl want it. but hey, i had to line up early before store opening too :)

The only time i've ever saw a Wii was the day that a walmart employee announced that they got 3 in and I grabed one. Never saw one in my hometown or college town.

I just got galaxy and it is awesome! im still playing wii sports too. as for if you should get a Wii or PS3, I would base it on whether you have a HDTV or not. I think the PS3 will get good games and more support and is really a good system. I might even get one in a year or two when im out of college. (working)
