It's funny how the analists say that the PS3 will win in the long run because it is made to last 10 years. But if you think about it, if the Wii only lasts for 5 years (which is pretty good for a $250 system) then Nintendo will be able match or even surpase the capabilities the PS3 and 360 with a new system for a fraction of the price because the technology will be five years old. Imagine HD graphics and a Wii remote and no doubt the new system will be cheaper than the PS3 at that time.
I get what your saying and agree with you. I really think Nin's next system should be the Wii 2 w/ HD and all that other stuff. The analyst are only looking at the systems out now...
You do know they will make new systems as well and the 360 and ps3 will be down to wii prices, so when nintendo actually does make a new system with the same graphics, they will be on par with price. Not to mention Msoft and Sony will make new Systems, he said it can last 10 years, like the playstation and how they made ports for it years after the ps2 came out, same thing. Nintendo should make the next gen system have a full controllable motion controls or the wii2 will get owned.

I certainly hope that is NOT going to happen. Nintendo should stick to different console/systems, insteda of releasing a wii-2 with HD graphics...
Stick with new graphical/gameplay methods instead of making a wii-360 combo for the next nintendo console please...
