1k free DSi points?

I heard that you get 1000 free DSi points when you first get a DSi so you can try out some DSiWare games, but I just got my DSi yesterday and nothing... I'm guessing it was only for a limited time, or did I miss doing something?

Yeah, that offer only lasted until October 5th.

I thought it lasted until the new year... oh well.

yeah i traded in my old ds lite at gamestop for 70 bucks it was a special, they also had if you trade in 4+ games you get 40% more cash back and i had a ton of 360 games not playing for various reasons, and i had the edge card another 10% so i got the DSi for free and it came with the 1000 points :) i was so lucky
