Other sites that have reviewed so far are:

GameTrailers- 8.4
GamePro- 5.0 (2.5/5)
GameInformer- 8.5

So far SSX Blur has a 69% at gamerankings.com

So two good reviews, two bad reviews. What do you think GS will give it?

I read the reviews, and the mixed opinions seem to be from the controls. It seems that some people don't like controls.

I wouldn't trust Game Informer, though. As far as I know, they gave Sonic Wii a 5.5, Wii Sports a 6.5, and Wii Play a 7...

Thats .. really weird. so wait, the 1up review = EGM review? :? also, gamespot will give it 7.6 - 8 i think. could be wrong.

try gs giving it a 2 since they scor low.

Controls then are (obviously) the biggest issue then.  I think it would be weird to use the nunchuck for steering :?

not really. its kinda like NFS:C for Wii, if you've ever played it.. its actually a lot easier.

try gs giving it a 2 since they scor low.

GS has been pretyt positive about SSX so far.  I think they will give it at least a 7.5

I think it's a matter of liking teh controls or not, I guess from reviews they aren't for everyone, sadly.

EGM has 3 diff reviewers per game in their mag, n one of them is the 1up review.

EGM/1up.com reviewers seem to be substantially more honest with game ratings than GS or IGN. That's not a shot at either, as most of their reviews are right on, but EGM/1UP.com are better when it comes to defending their arguements.

I really want to get this game, and I've always liked SSX.  So far though, I've seen an 8, an 8.5, and a 5.5.  I think that maybe people were getting mad at the controls?  Seeing previews, the controls would have to be very bad to make this game bad.

Thats way to low. Graphics should have had some part in this review. All they focused on, was the negatives of the game.
