As of now, which genre looks like it has the best games of 2009?

It guess it goes without saying that we need a new Skies of Arcadia for Wii and more RPGs in general. As for other genres, they should bring Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom over here. And hopefully Shenmue for 2009!acetroubleThats exactly what I was hoping for, plus Fragile. Especially Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom. That game looks awesome. But I think 09 is pretty well rounded, and perhaps more appealing to the hardcore than last year. Not really a genre, but Japanese-devoloped games this year look awesome, such as Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, Muramasa, Fragile, and more all look epic... Too bad we aren't even going to get half of them. No Nintendo games though. How strange... (cough Kid Icarus cough)
NO! Not another kid icarus. The human race has suffered enough....You don't like Kid Icarus, but you like that Cave Story junk? :?

Have you played Cave Story? I take your post as a no. Click my link and get it. Then you can say how it is.
I've beaten it on pc and psp, but I doubt I get it on the wii.

I've played it for an hour. The dialogue bored me half to death, and the sub-par level design and gameplay mechanics finished me off. It made me want to go back to playing Super Metroid and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, i.e. Cave Story's much more polished elder siblings.
