How should I spend them? I already have the original Sonic and River City Ransom. These are the games I'm looking at to buy tonight...

- Gunstar Heroes (Genesis) - 800 Points

- Punch-Out! (NES) - 500 Points

- Shinobi III: Return of The Ninja (Genesis) - 800 Points

- Paper Mario (N64) - 1000 Points

- Samurai Shodown II (Neo Geo) - 900 Points

I'm thinking I'll probably go with Gunstar Heroes, Punch-Out!, and Shinobi for the sheer fact that I'd like to get three games, and Gunstar Heroes is a must for me. Huge Sega fanboy here. As much as I would like Paper Mario, I have never played a Paper Mario game and really don't want to feel gyped if I end up not liking it when I could have gotten Punch-Out and Shinobi or Samurai Showdown instead. What do you guys think? And are there any other games you'd recommend?

Out of those, I've only played Gunstar Heroes and Paper Mario.

Paper Mario is great and definitely a must have. Gunstar Heroes is alright. Lots of stuff going on with a healthy difficulty level.

Is Gunstar Heroes frustratingly hard? I hate those kind of games. One reason why I refuse to buy Ninja Gaiden.

It's not Ninja Gaiden hard, but it can be difficult at times.

Get Punch-Out and Paper Mario. Paper Mario is a great and long RPG but it doesn't have huge replay value. While Punch-Out is a great boxing game that is short but has A LOT of replay value. For just $15 you get two great games. Spend your left over points on whatever you like :P.

You can't go wrong with Gunstar Heroes. Samurai Showdown II was a great arcade game too. Haomaru vs Hanzo never gets old for me...sweet!

Not at all. For a 16 bit game, it's actually an average difficulty.
