hi. Look, i have 3 DS Originals in my room in good condition(no scratches). at gamestop do you think all 3 of them are worth a DSi?

I traded in my DSLite at EB Games and got $55 (using EDGE card) for it. I still had to pay the extra$245 for the DSi.
$245??? bekkilyn
Yeah, I'm in Australia and the DSi is around $299. I put the pink and blue colours on layby when they came out but EB threw in two Mario Kart games with it because that was the deal was at the time I got the layby off. I traded in one of the MK's and got a further discount. Still, it's pretty expensive over here.

Yah, that is expensive!
I agree, you'll still have to pay. You might have had a bit better luck with 3 DS Lites, but the DS Phat's a just worthless in trade value at a gaming store.
Your best bet is to go in and ask specifically what they'd give you, or give them a call.
As far as I know, as long as they are working fine, the condition they are received in doesn't worry the stores selling them second hand. They have some pretty nifty ways of tidying them up, so even if they're in immaculate condition, I doubt you would get more.
I traded in my DS and my kid's DS Lites on the same day. Mine was perfect, it was traded in with everything it came with including box and packing materials etc. I got no more for it than for my kid's DS Lite which was just the device and a stylus and not in the best condition.

At least the weather's nice :PGuys, Australian dollars are not the same as American Dollars.
Can someone please answer my "30%" question before we all get off topic?

We are only about 8 cents in the dollar away from being 1 AU = 1 US. So yes, we pay out the arse at retail.

We do and it actually has started to really annoy me more lately. Probably because I'm more aware - since being here - of just how cheap everything seems OS. I'd consider buying OS games and other items etc, but some sellers don't ship here or charge the most horrendous postage fees (please, tell me how a mobile phone holder can possibly charge $47 in postage from the US to Australia via sea mail!?)
Probably not. You can probably try selling them in the classifieds/craigslist or on ebay and get $50-70 a piece as long as they are complete (charger & stylus). SiK99Yup.
